I received an excellent foundational education encompassing the 'Three "R"s as well as music, plays/skits, art (painting & drawing), recess activities of action, exercise, and teamwork. “I've been coming to Virginia Beach for business and family fun for many years. I have eaten here often for over 30 years. And while some restaurants here can get a little same-y with offerings after a while the overall choices are generally good for families. We stumbled into Tulu quite by accident and were pleasantly surprised across the board. The staff was cheerful and attentive without overdoing either from the hostess to the servers. The beach-side location and view was lovely. And the food was simply marvelous. The cocktails were magnificently prepared and the pours were generous. My wife had the sweet corn and crab chowder along with the pan seared tuna appetizer for her dinner which featured wonderfully fresh fish and preparation. I had the pesto shrimp and fresh mozzarella pizza with balsamic glaze. Filling and fantastic! And the prices were right in line for good dining in this area. We will happily and anxiously return.”

We talked by phone since I was out of town and he still nailed it, the board rips and is sized perfect. “We always have such a great experience here. My go to, "celebratory" restaurant! The service, food and drinks are always fantastic. Eating outside, on the water, is our favorite. There is even a spot for outdoor games. We always have exceptional service but today our waitress was Tracey, 10 out of 10. We ordered a couple shots and she was the first waitress to ask us if we wanted them chilled. She was prompt and kind and we look forward to having her again in the future because we will definitely be back! Oh and after our fantastic meal, we decided to buy some oysters to go, to cook at home. The 2 gentleman that helped us were incredibly helpful and friendly. One of them even let me try one of the oysters we were buying! Going above and beyond like that is exactly why this is my favorite restaurant!”

When I mentioned we have a drainage problem in the backyard, they informed me they have drainage solutions. The recent rains slowed down the installation, but it gave me the opportunity to see how well it works first hand. I’m just not used to paying a $12 shipping fee from any store nowadays. Everywhere I shop offers free shipping when they don’t have an item in stock. “This was an amazing experience my family and I will always remember! The setting in the water around the state park is gorgeous and there is so much wildlife! Our tour guide Brian really made it a remarkable journey with all of his local knowledge and enthusiasm. We even got to hold a jellyfish! The dolphins swam right past our kayaks at the end of our trip and it was incredible to see them that close and you could hear them breathe! We had a great time and enjoyed the feeling of being out on the water. Highly recommend!”
