“We really enjoy walking down to this cute little neighborhood park. It's clean and feels friendly. The playground has swings, slides, etc and the kids seem to really have fun. There's a few picnic tables and benches. There's also an area for kids to do surfboard tricks on.”

“What a great little community park! Super nice playground for kids of all ages. We took our 1 yr old to the park and she had a blast. Definitely no parking - more of a walk up and play situation. But nice nonetheless.”

“I'm just getting around to writing something now, but I climbed Mt. St. Helens with a guided group on July 18, 2021. If you are able to do a guided climb, do it. Here are the reasons: 1. There aren't any private permits left from May through October. 2. You've never climbed MSH before and would rather go with someone who has experience and expertise. 3. Maybe you are a seasoned mountain hiker who is pretty fit, but you are teetering on whether or not you could handle summiting this volcano. I'm so glad I went with a guide, mainly because the boulder field is no longer "hiking." It's a climb. I don't know if it's considered to be technical at all, because the overall description of MSH as a hike is "non-technical." But you are no longer just "walking" (or even just trudging up steep terrain with poles) when you hit the boulder field. You are putting away your poles and using your hands to hoist yourself from landing to landing. And it's about a two mile bouldering session. I wouldn't necessarily call it Class 3, but I found it to be more "climbing like" than Aasgard Pass in The Enchantments. I think had I been by myself or with someone who had never done this one before, I might have sadly turned around. But being with experts to help us along and to guide the way, it gave me a lot more confidence. I was physically prepared, but not mentally. Anyway, the guides were very encouraging. They were careful to make sure that no one was left behind, gave us plenty of breaks for rest and water. We were in great hands. Highly recommended!”

“Had some time to kill before catching a flight so decided to check out the refuge. Went for a nice long walk and saw a lot of different wildlife. They were working on a new building and parking lot while I was there that looks like it will be very nice once finished. If you enjoy nature and walks I recommend this place.”

“Absolutely beautiful wooded park with plenty of open picnic space for any size gathering. Great walks along the river or a short hike along the ridge. Bring your tube and float down the river for an afternoon, or just lounge in the grass. An absolute Clark County treasure.”

“My favorite place to rollerskate outdoors. Plenty of parking. Clean and beautiful. Super smooth concrete path for those of us who like to quad skate. The trail goes all the way up to the dike trail at steamboat landing. Hope the city continues to maintain this place.”

“Pet drinking fountain located within Kate and Clarence Park. Visited 12/21/2020 in the early morning, saw no one else at the park. Nice, clean small park with a great playground for young children. Handicap accessible, though there is no designated parking for this park. 2 access points. Basketball half court, trash, picnic tables and benches available at this park. Large green space available as well. Small walking path available.”

“It is a lovely park. This was my first time to visit this park.. I arrived a bit after 1 pm on Saturday. Parking is a bit hasty, but signs directed me towards overflow parking where I found a spot. Beautiful paths that are paved, at least in the area we were in by the river's edge. Nice restrooms. Picnic tables placed around the grounds and nicely spaced for privacy amongst the trees. Dogs are allowed and there were plenty there. They were all well behaved and leashed. We got witness a Wedding party who snapped pictures on the bridge across the river. Lots of paddle boarders. And swimmers. Plus I saw lots of people with fish poles, so fishing must be good. The only drawback is that didn't see any place to get down beside river except jump like everyone was doing. There may be spots like that, but they weren't where I was with my family. I would recommend this beautiful park and a very short drive from Portland.”

“Beautiful. Did not stop long but did dip in the water (in late May) which was cold but it is the Northwest after all. Picturesque park. Great for families taking a day trip. I do not think they offer camping here from a sign I saw but I could be wrong. Go see this pretty place.”

“Amazing Customer Service With a Fast Turnaround Time! I found Engraved-Rock online in my quest to find a rock that could be engraved with a corporate logo, and let me tell you, what an amazing find! Linda was extremely responsive and provided valuable input on how to make our company logo appear on the rock more prominently. She took the time to understand my needs and showed me several examples of their work. The rock was made and shipped within 24 hours of me placing the order. I am extremely pleased to have found Engraved-Rock, a husband & wife team, in my search. They put a lot of care into their work which is reflected in the end result.”

“Great local swimming hole right over the state line into Washington. It's easy to find unlike a lot of other swimming holes we've visited, has a parking lot, bathrooms, bike rack, ramp, and beautiful clear water. On the to be prepared for side, the ground is really rocky and there's no shade. Next time I would definitely bring a zero gravity chair and an umbrella to be super comfy! There were kids of all ages and adults and everyone was having a good time while staying distanced. A group of teenagers was jumping from a platform into a deep spot. My girls were screaming and trying to skip rocks. Some tubers floated past us. And a family down the beach was playing music to give us some background music. The viewing platform right off the parking lot has picnic benches and a great view of the river. I don't know if this is a regular thing, but when we got there at around 5:30, the ice cream truck was just pulling through! I'm not sure when we'll be back since it was quite a haul, but I would definitely return and highly recommend for anyone nearby. It seemed about 5 to 10 degrees warmer than where we are in Portland, and a lot of folks were just showing up as we were leaving around 7: 00pm. It looked like evening might be the time to go!”

“All around, great park. Lots of greenery and makes you feel like you're in the forest when taking a walk down the paths. Although you can hear traffic from I-205, it for me, turns into "white noise". The structures are engaging for kids, offering balance and strength challenges. There is a restroom. There are horseshoe pits, covered group area with barbeques, large green expanses for group ball or net sports.”

“Quiet neighborhood park with an ok walking path. Kids playground has the basics plus a little extra. My baby loved the musical aluminum tubes. Nice place but not a ton of shade if ye need it and no bathrooms. I like less busy parks and this is a nice one.”

“We love bringing our furry kid here to meet others and get his exercise. For the most part, the park is clean. However, there are a few who do not clean up their dog's leavings. Just watch your step!”
