“Matt’s performed routine maintenance on our vehicle. It was easy to make an appointment, and they provided a quote for their services in advance. I appreciated the ability to drop the key off early in a drop box. They completed the work at the estimated time and dollar amount. At pick-up, they explained their services and findings. Great experience!”

“The institute is a non profit that offers retreats and has its grounds open to the public. This review is for the trails visited though after eyeing the cabins and the grounds, I'm looking at signing up for a retreat. Went here for a group hike and it was a lovely, relaxed walk through multiple short trails. Mostly gentle incline except for the steep Goat trail. Lots of tree roots to watch out for to avoid tripping on the hike but other than that, its safe for older and the littlest of hikers. No restrooms onsite but downtown Langley is just a few minutes drive and has public toilets. Recommended for families with little kids, older adults, and individuals looking for a meditative hiking experience. Dogs are not welcome on the trail. Plenty of parking available.”

“Great school if you are looking for a classical Christian education. I am very impressed with the drive to keep school going during the shutdown while keeping the facilities safe with everyone socially distanced. Really beats the online stuff that the public school is doing!”

“Excellent services matching the estimate and my desires for installation preferences at a price I could afford. All team members were professional and courteous. Owner took the time to explain operation details of my new generator and even made a special return trip to address a concern which turned out to be unrelated. Highly recommend Jerry Beck and his team for your electrical needs!”

“One of the best places we have ever stayed. Gorgeous gourmet offerings at breakfast. Every room is a room with a view. BEST GIANT BATHTUB EVER for relaxing and watching the clouds and eagles roll by. Candles and premium bath salts included. We loved our time there and the staff are so very kind and helpful and good at their jobs. What a treat!”

“Incredible experience! This was my first time to Rumours Salon and it was great! My stylist was Dena. She was kind, knowledgeable, and understood my hair texture. I showed her a photo of what I wanted and she was able to cater the cut to fit me perfectly. It's always nerve racking when you go to a new hair salon and want to go from long hair to extremely short. From the moment I spoke to Dena I felt like I was in good hands. I recommend this place 100% and will be back. Thank you!”

“A place of welcome, discernment, scripture, and fun. A Church in the best of senses. Everyone welcome, everyone equal. Well connected in various forums online as well as through the Word. Pastor Lindus has a good heart.”

“Dental care is not cheap but at Saratoga Dental I never feel like they’re pushing for unnecessary work. Dr Braden is gentle, honest, straightforward and thoughtful. The staff turnover is very low, which says something important about the practice and they all appear to care about each other. I think Catherine has been “my” hygienist for 15 years and I feel very fortunate.”

“I've had to go in a couple of times this year and each time was treated as I would be seen at most any walk in clinics, professional and in order of arrival. The staff has been friendly and helpful. Not sure why there are such negative reviews, as it might be around the overall Whidbey Health system rather than this particular location.”

“Ordered boots for my son. Web site recommended to go with 1 size smaller because boots run big. After receiving the boots 1 size smaller as recommended, they were still big. Called to explain the situation and i spoke to Julie and she was very pleasant and is sending him another pair. Amazing customer service.”

“The small-group fitness training with Adam at Vibrant Fitness is, quite simply, the best training I have ever received. As a retired court reporter of 30 years, sitting has taken its toll on my body and when I started, I was very prone to injury. Through diligent instruction on proper body mechanics with each workout, I have avoided injury and been able to gradually build a solid foundation for strength and mobility. On top of great workouts, Adam always manages to serve up a LOT of LAUGHTER!”

“We stumbled on this store back in August 2019. I was so pleasantly surprised with what they had to offer, and was totally taken with their new line ‘Surface by Serax’ from overseas. They have absolutely gorgeous camo green cast iron pans, pots and casserole dishes that I have never come across before. After talking to the owners who were incredibly helpful, I found out that they are the first company in North America to carry the brand. I currently own the large casserole dish, but will be expanding my collection soon to all of the pots I can get my hands on. I have had so many compliments the three times that I have used the unique dish, that my family members across North America will be purchasing a few items as well. Thank you for carrying such a gorgeous brand Leah!!”

“Beautiful little farm in Lagley in Whidbey island. The farm owner Marie was really sweet and explained the history of the farm. We loved the nursery, the flowers with lovely chocolate aroma, and the cute gift shop. We purchased the creamy fudge and the chocolate mint tea. The fudge was delicious!”

“These guys are the best, I was on a bike tour with my son and Mike replaced a derailleur cable and fixed up a few more things while he was looking at the bike. Tops notch service and friendly attitude. I wish all shops could be like this.”

“Whidbey Island is lucky to have a comprehensive local gameshop with roots in the community that fosters a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Jester's caries Pokemon and Magic cards, Warhammer 40k and Age of Sigmar, D&D, Pathfinder, and a bunch of other more casual games as well. Great spot to hang, or just duck in if you need a fun game for an evening.”

“Susan Ishikawa was wonderful! She even cut a lovely posy of Lily of the Valley for my husband to give me. We purchased beautiful Japanese ramen bowls from her. I can’t wait to go home to use and DISPLAY the gorgeous ramen bowls.”

“Great little brewery just off the ferry in Clinton. They had a big selection of their own taps (something for everyone) and a couple guest taps. There is a food truck outside for food and they have trivia and other events during the week. Very nice people too! I definitely recommend this spot and can't wait to visit in the summer.”

“Thank you ever so much, Monique, for the compassionate care you provided while I had cancer and during healing after the surgery for it. Your gentleness and the atmosphere you provided helped me to feel understood, accepted, and cared for in every way that I needed. I felt safe and free to be just as I was, and I still do when with you. I've been deeply moved by all that has been revealed, and continues to be revealed, through sharing with you. I'm very grateful you are as you are.”

“The Whidbey Island B&B and its location are incredible. It has a beautiful yard and setting with easy access to the beach. The Film Noir room was artistically decorated, very clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The owner was quick to respond to all of our inquiries. During our stay we had such good interactions with her that we left feeling like we had made new friends! We highly recommend this B&B and look forward to our next visit.”
