I was feeling energy depleted all the time and knew I had to have a fitness program and health regime. I was not new to exercise but lacked knowledge on good weight training technique and needed to know where to start. That's when I came across Maria on Google.
Maria is an exceptional fitness trainer as well as a registered dietitian. When we first began, she developed a personal fitness regime and talked me through a good diet plan to reach my health goals.
Maria has in depth knowledge of every body part and helped design a personalized exercise plan. She is very detailed oriented and taught me the proper technique for every exercise.
During her assessment she found the areas that I personally needed to improve. She added a lot of exercises for my core and strength. She gave me exercises to improve my hip mobility and that helped with my flexibility and knee problems.
She also influenced, made me aware and conscious of what I eat. She shared easy and quick recipes with simple everyday ingredients. Maria is also a very easy person to talk to and extremely reachable and prompt.
I feel now I can independently follow my workout plan. I look at exercise in a different light now and it doesn't bore or tire me anymore. I feel much better around my hip and my flexibility has improved with each day. I am also reaching my weight loss goals. This has been a productive experience for me. I came to Maria for help to feel my best five months after having my first baby.
I realized how I wanted to be an active, “doer” mom in my kids’ lives and it was going to be difficult the way I felt at that time.
Over the course of three months Maria helped me to implement functional fitness and weights into my life and encouraged me to find cardio that I really enjoy. I’m now doing cardio almost daily and miss it when I don’t make time for it. In addition to her designing a home fitness program for me, she and I worked out twice a week in her studio where I learned weightlifting techniques and got lots of variety.
I have even seen improvement in the sports I do! I hit the ski slopes at 8 months post-partum and my ski bibs fit better than I thought they could, and I felt strong on the mountain!
Maria is a registered dietitian so I scheduled several nutrition sessions with her. I wanted to learn how to eat healthier and lose weight with a sustainable lifestyle approach. I’ve lost ten pounds already but that’s not even the best part. I have greater strength, stamina, and energy every day.
I still enjoy delicious food thanks to her suggestions and recipes and don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything. My relationship with food has changed; I’m more conscious of what I put in my body for fuel and how it makes me feel.
I’m excited for my new lifestyle to be carried into motherhood and set a strong example for my son and future kids. This lifestyle is sustainable, and I am feeling strong!

Maria is an excellent personal trainer and nutritionist. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She has taught me how to properly exercise in order to achieve the goals I want (strengthen and stabilize) and explains the reasoning behind each exercise, which is interesting and very much appreciated. Her nutrition education has also helped me to lose 20 pounds over the course of a few months. Not only are her recommendations helping me lose weight, the foods and recipes are delicious!
