“Definitely one of the top ten parks in Denny Blaine”

“Beautiful and fairly intimate, small, quiet park with gorgeous views of the Cascade Mountains and Lake Washington. Most people use it as an off leash area just for their dogs...it's not! No toys, just a few statues so there are less kids running around, playing and screaming and laughing. Nice place to sit and read or write in or just enjoy the sun/weather. ****disclosure**** The back "wall/border" of the park is nothing but sun ripened blackberry bushes galore! So it's a beautiful, tranquil Park and tasty too!!!!😉😎💙💚”

“There is plenty of room to do what you like. There is a basketball court for a pickup game and playground toys for the little ones. Clean walkable pathways and a public restroom. Tables for a BBQ or party in the park. Have a seat on a bench and just enjoy the environment. There is street parking or hop on the #8 bus and don't forget you can always take a stroll in your neighborhood and relax in the grass once you get there.”

“I didn't want to be intrusive coming to visit Kurt Cobain's house but it turned out to be just fine. They also have an area to the left of the house with a memorial bench for Kurt but also for Layne Staley from Alice In Chains. Glad I made the trek. Just be respectful and remember that this is someone's home.”

“A small, quiet park with a good view of Bellevue across the lake. It's a lovely spot for sun bathing and light swimming. You'll see lots of birthday suits when the weather's good.”

“Great community of gardeners. Beautiful patches - mostly food plants. Could use some benches and a better composting system.”

“Part of the elaborate network of Olmsted parks in Seattle. But don't get fooled by the name - not many parts of this park still have lake views after the trees have grown out for a hundred years. Instead appreciate the relative seclusion of the hidden clearings and pathways that this park has to offer.”

“Great lakeside park. Canadian Geese make sitting in the grass impossible. The Marina is a mismanaged mess but somehow manages to work for the neighborhood.”

“A nice small playground with a good view to the city.”

“A lovable mini park in Madrona. A few kids, a dog or two, some people smoking a doobie, others enjoying a rare late winter sunny Seattle day. Snapshot of quintessential Seattle right there!”
