“Best gym ever. There’s multiple floors and lots of different rooms and a ton of free weights and equipment in each room. You can adjust the lights if you’re there alone, which often the gym is empty. The equipment is good enough to get a good workout in. It’s also fun to go with people or alone. Overall just great vibes, good views with lots of windows, lots of space and a lot to choose from. This is my safe place. All of the instructors are very welcoming and give plenty of options for all people of all ability levels and experience levels to provide a balanced and fulfilling yoga practice. There are many different class times and types of classes to fit many schedules and preferences. Additionally, there are many events that are offered during the month that are always fantastic experiences including sound bath and meditation, various workshops, and even occasional out-of studio events. The space is beautiful and clean and there are many yoga props available for use for each class. The energy from all of the members and instructors is very relaxed and positive. “I cannot say enough good things about Jaclyn and what she has created with Evolve Strong Fitness! I was always one to shy away from group workouts because I never felt like I was in good enough shape to keep up. It was intimidating, especially when you’re overweight and out of shape. The minute I walked up to my very first workout I was greeted by name by one of the coaches and several other members that I didn’t know did the same. It was a huge relief. “I came by for a tour of Hard Candy Pilates a little over a month ago. The owner Lori was so incredibly kind and welcoming. I was nervous because I used to be a dancer but after a serious spinal injury, I had not worked out in years. I expressed my fears about starting fresh with a workout routine and wanting to ensure I was still able to be safe. Lori was extremely thorough when it came to getting to know my specific injury and ensured that they were a good fit for me. I did my trial session with Rachel and I literally fell in love with Pilates from that day on. I didn't feel pressured to sign up because they genuinely wanted me to feel like it was right for ME, not for any other reason. But I instantly was so excited to book out my sessions. Rachel has been an angel. She has been so detailed about explaining everything step by step, which is so needed as a complete beginner on a reformer. She also has a daughter who is a former dancer, so not only do we connect on that level, but she even is able to explain things by incorporating the similarities between Pilates and dance. I leave every session feeling refreshed, energized and full of joy! I absolutely cannot wait to see my body respond as I go more consistently. I also want to express how refreshing it is to know that they are a place for all ages, shapes and sizes! This was something that was important to me too. I love that everyone is focused on their own journey and the positive atmosphere makes working out so much fun! I highly recommend joining this wonderful studio. “I train here for the jiu-jitsu. I’m very picky with my gyms as social settings tend to give me anxiety. (It usually takes me 4-6 months before I’m able to join.) That said, this gym immediately made me feel comfortable with its very welcoming atmosphere. Everyone is friendly and accommodating, and the training environment is relaxed and very conducive to learning, whether you’re training to compete or as a hobby. Sparring feels very safe and you don’t feel like somebody is going to inadvertently hurt you (which is usually a concern for smaller people like me). There are training partners at every level, and the instruction is top-notch. Kyle is very knowledgeable, and doesn’t get caught-up with gym politics, encouraging everyone to cross-train. The mats are mopped every day after use, and the bathroom is very clean. Definitely one of the top gyms I’ve trained at.”

Only two concerns, it’s a very pricey gym and I have no clue where it’s all going because there are some things in there that could really use an update. “I will say Pilates is like yoga on steroids and personalized physical therapy. Pilates is not just a work out it is a work out that physically betters YOU to your core. I am a massage therapist, with that comes abuse to my body and posture. Jyl is working with me to correct my postural deficits while strengthening my core. If I went to a PT they would say go do this ten times and come back to me when you're finished. When I go to Jyl she watches exactly what I do. She makes sure I am doing the exercise correctly and fixes what I may be doing wrong as to get the best outcome. Jyl is amazing at what she does and I am so happy to have found someone who loves what they do. It is obvious Jyl not only enjoys what she does but takes great pride in getting the best results, whether it means starting you out simple, slow, and steady or jumping right in and maximizing her hour with you. “The best gym I've ever been to. I travel to a new state every three months for work, always need a new gym. They are super accommodating to that here. Offered a no obligation contract for close to twenty-five bucks a month. Can't beat it. They have a basketball court, classes, and tons of equipment. Two squat racks and one deadlift platform. I almost never have to wait for them. Staff have been super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend and will be sad to have to move on soon.”
