“Great little spot by the water with a nice vibe and view. We sat on the patio on a nice sunny day. Nachos were excellent, huge portion. Bourbon BBQ burger was good, although a little over cooked. BLT sandwich was good as well.”

“This food truck is amazing. Julie has owned it for over 10 years. However, as of September 1, 2018 she is retiring. She has sold the business to a man I haven't met yet and she tells me that he intends to keep the locations and menu the same, at least for a while. I'm sure he will eventually tweak things to his liking but I sure hope he doesn't run it into the ground. That would be a huge bummer because Julie's recipes are freaking awesome which is why she has such a huge following. I will keep my fingers crossed!!”

“At the time of my visit, Chk a Boom is take out via Arnie's, not a separate restaurant, so it was confusing to find. The signs are not clear. The chicken sandwiches are quality made, juicy, and flavorful. I got the Nashville Hot, which wasn't particularly spicy at all. It is a messy sandwich that 10 min drive home was enough to get a soggy bun. The pickle fries were tasty but quite greasy and soggy from the container. My group's Thai Sweet Chili and Bourbon Brie chicken burgers were reported to be very tasty. Price point felt high for size of burger and other options in Seattle. I would order again but would consume immediately at the nearby beach.”

“The service was excellent and the food was good but didn’t fully live up to our expectations. We ordered the scallops for our appetizer - cooked well but all the seasoning was in a very thin gravy that didn’t catch on to the scallops, for entrees we got the jerk pork loin - was overcooked and tough but the rice that came and the flavors were great, and the curried goat - cooked perfectly, soft and well seasoned. The cocktails were potent but taste wise they fell a bit flat.”

“Cute small space, loved all of the photography on the walls. My soy hazelnut latte was delish! Love that they support local artists. Staff wasn't very welcoming/friendly.”

“What a wonderful, multi course, Thanksgiving dinner we had! The staff were all kind and in the holiday spirit. The meal was superb and we had enough left to brown bag it home for a second meal. I thought my first Thanksgiving not as a huge family get together night be a bit depressing -- not at Arnie's! As always, delight-filled and uplifting. Yay!”

“Always a good spot, the shrimp cocktail is mini shrimp in a blend of celery, not the usual several large shrimp in sauce which is fine if your heart isn't set on larger shrimp, their menu should call that out. Love the bread basket & chowder is great. Let's face it, we go because of the amazing view & ability to walk the boardwalk before or after dinner. Very busy area so parking could be an issue, prepare to drive around a bit for a spot during prime time & weekends. Sand pit area outside for kids to keep them entertained while you have that final cocktail or dessert!”

“We just enjoyed caesar salad, a combo pizza, and lasagna. Everything was ready, when I walked in, and I was met as I walked in to pick up my order. Quick, well done, delicious ... what more can you ask! The only unusual change I've noticed, recently, is not being able to have half pineapple/Canadian bacon/mozzarella combined with a Combo. That said, it's the smallest adjustment, considering everything local businesses have had to endure, lately. So dang, Portofinos, we will be seeing you, again, real soon!”

“Ordered yesterday. Nachos were perfect not soggy. Not skimpy. Also had a hard shell mighty. Again not soggy.”

“The food was delicious--a cup of butternut squash soup and a salmon pita for $11. The server, Javier, was exceptional! He seated us on the patio with a heater, brought us hot water with lemon, and was extremely attentive to our every need without being invasive. He actually anticipated what we would need before we asked and suggested a more economical way to order for one person in our party. Wonderful experience!”
