“Great campground! The park Ranger was very helpful when checking in. Upper loop camp hosts were very nice. Site 21 does have a slight slope to it, but it wasn't a problem for us. And it goes great with 20 if you are camping with friends as they are open to each other.”

“Little relatively flat beach. Really gentle incline on the boat launch, docton park is easier to launch boats from. Tables and benches and nice grass! The parks district takes good care of it!”

“Playground is toddler friendly with large sandpit and a ferry themed play area. Not a ton for our 6 year old but she still had a great time. We also appreciated the lookouts with salmon conservation info… there is a fun scavenger hunt and well kept restroom too”

“A cute and quaint park! I love how much area the boardwalk covers, and how expansive your 360-degree view is. Needless to say, it is great place for birdwatching. Lots of local species to marvel over, and you will always see something new and exciting with each and every visit!”

“Went to find a trinket hid in the park. Was a lot of work but left quacker and my heart for the next to come. Quite a nice little stop, but not much on the parking. Not much to do and there is the main road right along side of the park. But it's still a great stop. No bathroom or tables, just grass and nature.”

“Small but beautiful little park. Amazing view of Seattle from here. There is a little bit of grass to have a ground picnic or there are 6 concrete round picnic tables with 4 concrete benches. Each table had a very nice cloth umbrella to shade it. The tide was out so there was a little sand, I’d definitely recommend some kind of water shoes though since there are broken shells and crabs all over. Perfect little park for a romantic picnic lunch!”

“This park has been upgraded, there is a nice rubber floor instead of gravel in the playground. Here you will always meet friendly people, dogwalkers, cyclists and kids. Good to allow your kids to meet new friends while you talk with people for a while!”

“If you want a great outing in nature but don't want to go too far, Moulton Falls should be on your list. It isn't exactly close to downtown Vancouver, but it is a beautiful place. River, waterfalls, rapids, a train tunnel, a picturesque bridge... this is a wonderful destination for a Sunday stroll.”

“This place is so cool. A hidden orchard nearly 100 years old. Lots of interesting varieties of pear, apple, chestnut, filbert trees. Really neat to stroll up the slope and check out the trees. Looks like in snow it has some nice runs for sledding.”

“Love this for a nice bike ride with the kids. Make sure you keep an eye out for the other bikers who come zooming through. My kids always find themselves in the path of the zooming bikes. Beautiful views through most parts. You can veer off the path and grab some food in downtown Lake Stevens. Wheelchair accessible.”

“I had a really good time. Good place for kids as there are two playgrounds to accommodate younger and older children. Also large soccer fields at which games are always ongoing on weekends. There are many trails and taking walks around the fields is always fun for adults and elderly. Picnic tables and a barbecue stand are provided which you can reserve for birthdays. This is also the first park at which I've seen a bathroom and water fountain. Amazing!”

“Best park in Wedgwood (Besides Dahl)”
Address: 12119 SW Cove Rd, Vashon, WA 98070, USA
“This place is amazing! It isn’t like a regular campground where you feel like you are on top of your neighbor camper. The field is open, beautiful and feels like you are staying on your favorite ranch! The cabins look beautiful (we are tent camping), the grounds are kept up well, lots of area to explore and the bathrooms are clean, spacious and easily accessible wherever you choose to camp. 10/10 would recommend to everyone! It definitely helps that Judy was so kind and welcoming when I called her as well. We will be back many, many times!”
