“I like the huge bed. Everything is neat and not dirty. No microwave or fridge or even vending machines, . It's not expensive but for$75 a night i would at least expect to have a mini fridge or microwave. But it's clean ( Thank God!) And the staff is friendly, not nosey, i dig it. I wanna say for the price it's worth it but not true unfortunately. Just grateful for the cleanliness!! And cool staff”

“I have come here once as a child and it was super fun! I rented a cabin for my friend and I’s birthday celebration. Defiantly more of a family place but that didn’t stop us from having fun. All the people are super friendly, shop is cute and super cool activates! Only reason I docked a star is because we wanted to use the pond to swim and they had all of their stuff removed… would have liked to enjoy that, it was one of the main reasons we chose this place. It was a solid 80 degrees but other than that we loved renting the cabin it was perfect for the 4 adults!”

“I have stayed at about half a dozen bed and breakfast in America. This is the best one. The hosts are very dedicated, attentive and hospitable. They responded to email promptly throughout my reservation process. Rob gave me a nice introduction of the place and my room after I checked in to ensure that I was well settled in. It is an old house but the property was well-maintained and nicely decorated. I stayed in the Garden Room on the first floor. It is tastefully decorated. There are a lot of attention to details. For instance, because the door is an old wooden heavy sliding door, there is a curtain to cover the room entrance also for privacy so when I chose to step out to relax in the lounge or living room or just grab water from the fridge, I could leave the room door open without bothering to close the sliding door. Even though the sink in the bathroom is a pedestal sink, there is a small table to put my toiletries. Another great thing is how they serve breakfast. First, they have a menu of items for guests to select the day before and the serving time of breakfast is flexible, so guests can choose to start their day at any time instead of everyone making it to the table at the same time and just asking the guests for their dietary restriction in the reservation. The quality of the breakfast is quite good too. The house is large and there is a lot of space for guests to relax: living room, patio and another lounge with a nice bay window. This bed and breakfast is within walking distance to downtown Mt Horeb and also an easy half an hour drive from Madison. I highly recommend staying here over staying in a Bed and Breakfast/Inn in Madison, which is much more expensive and may not be the same quality. The hosts are friendly and I enjoyed their conversations.”

“This no 5 star hotel, it is a dated hotel setting between two bodies of water. It has two very good restaurants one on site and a second across the street. Both have bar and awesome company. The hotel is an older hotel, however it is very comfortable and clean. Beds are not bad, water is hot with decent pressure. Plenty of coffee but no tea in the room. I have stayed quite a few times. I enjoy the lower rooms because of the quite and beautiful view of the lake. There is a firepit for use if you want, a grill to cook on, cleaning station for fish if you are fishing. The owner is very nice and easy to get along with. If you bring a boat, there is a dock available right at the hotel. If your looking for a 5 star hotel, this is not for you. If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay. That is clean with amazing food, cold drinks and possible fishing then this is a no brainer. Stay here if you're in the area, it's waterfront charm will draw you back.”

“This cabin was absolutely amazing! If you are looking for a quiet, tranquil, secluded get away close to plenty of restaurants for ordering in, or cooking yourself - look no further. We enjoyed quiet weekend getaway in December, and absolutely loved our time there. We enjoyed the fireplace, hot tub, and some down time away from the normal chaos. There is wonderful deck space overlooking the Great Outdoors, with no neighbors to impose. We would highly recommend to anyone and everyone!”

Their Venue is so gorgeous and dreamy! everywhere you looked was picture perfect! I wish i could hangout out there all the time it was so beautiful! We had our ceremony in the isle of pines, and it was a dream! My family from out of town was able to stay in the gorgeous Airbnb which was so fun and convenient! It made the weekend so much more enjoyable and relaxed! Katy and Dale are the SWEETEST people and so accommodating! They went above and beyond to help make our day so special and stress free! I can't recommend this venue enough! Not only for the beautiful venue and atmosphere, but for the people that run it so gracefully and beautifully! We are forever grateful! ”

“Loved this place. There was someone in my camp site that I had reserved. Thank God there was another site I was able to book. Id recommend whoever oversees the site to look for stuff like that. I was able to get money from the individuals to make up what I spent. The sites are beautiful would have been nice to be able to drive in by the site to unpack, gates were locked. Try to get fire wood before you arrive, otherwise you'll have to scavenge some, and there is a nice big brush pile down towards the overflow lot.”

“I’ve recently completed the confluence 6 hour trip and it was great! The river was a bit low so we did get stuck a few times and encountered some downed trees, but we enjoy the river challenge! I’ve always have used Kinni Creek outfitters and will continue to do so- I have never had a bad experience! Being our trip had us landing in Prescott, they gave us good info about the river areas to keep an eye out for, navigation tips for kayaking the St. Croix and great communication on pick up plans/times. While I will probably never do the confluence trip again (being in the st Croix was not our favorite) I will be back to Kinni Creek Outfitters again to get back out in the Kinnickinnic!”
