“A little far from the city center. You can reach directly by bus number 261. You need to pay $2 for the journey that takes more than an hour. Pay attention to which terminal you need to get off.”

“One of the best, cleanest, brightest, most updated, pleasant feeling airports I have been to in a while. I felt like I was arriving in a minute Detroit at first. Way better feeling though. Restrooms everywhere. They were all clean as well. Great in and out experience here. Keep up the good work.”

“I was surprised with a gift certificate for a 1 hr training flight and just did it this weekend. It was amazing and everything I hoped it would be. I got to sit in the main left pilots seat while instructor Matt was in the right seat. (Matt was a great guy BTW!) We spent time before the flight getting to know the Cessna 172 aircraft and what is done on a preflight inspection. He did the heavy lifting of course with take off and landing but I was able to take the controls for about 20 minutes. It was completely amazing feeling that I hope to duplicate with more lessons. Thank you for a very memorable day!”

“I recently landed in Seward (SWT) for several days of business in Lincoln. I was met by Greg and Terri Whisler upon landing where they told me that they would take of my airplane and ensure that it was hangared if weather turned bad. This was an understatement--they stored my airplane (Maule) in a T-hangar during my entire visit, provided advice on a mechanical issue and loaned me a battery charger. I also had to spend a morning in their pilot's lounge waiting for VFR weather to fly back to Montana. Their lounge was awesome and provided a comfortable place to work during the wait. I also must mention that their fuel prices were lower than most other airports in the area (particularly LNK). I will keep SWT on my list of stops on my next cross country!”

“Based on our experience, I know why KOP Coach has so many five star reviews - I would give them 100 stars if I could. Our daughter and her boyfriend broke up the day before senior prom. We could have driven her, but wanted her last prom to be special and scrambled to find her a ride. Everyone was booked due to the Taylor Swift concert and I'd given up hope, but KOP Coach said they would make it work - they had kids too and wanted to make her feel better. They are a family run business that clearly goes above and beyond for their clients. They helped make her last prom a happy memorable one, and we had peace of mind knowing she was in safe hands. I can't say enough good things about or recommend them enough. Thank you so much!!”

“Oakland County Airshow was amazing. The pilots were fierce in their maneuvers in the sky. Several skydivers also fell from the sky to a safe landing. You were able to bring chairs to sit near the runway outside the roped area. Also wagons to carry you kids snacks, and water. They day was a bit overcast, but all in all the weather was nice. It was cooler than the previous year. That made standing outside bearable. There were a lot of food trucks to feed the masses of Adults and Children. This year (August of 2022) the admission was free along with the parking. They had several bounce houses and blow up slides for the lil ones. Along withe the Airshow, you could make a donation and take a tour of some of the larger cargo or fighter planes from past wars. Helicoptors rides were taking off every 15 minutes w/ four helicoptors available. Attendants all helped in keeping the traffic orderly and pedestrians safe. Food trucks and smaller stands had Lemonade, bar be que, chicken, fish, gyros, Ice Cream, popcorn etc. for your lunch. Plenty of non alcoholic beverages stands too filled with pop, ice tea and water. There were a lot of trash receptacle, so I really didn't see a lot of trash discarded on the ground. Also many porta-johns. The only thing I thought they needed more of were hand washing stations. A lot of people could of used those cause of all the bar be que I saw being eaten. If you go, just bring plenty of wetnaps. Great time, hope to go next year.”
