I have to say after my first experience I will be a repeat customer quite a bit for any future additions! I bought an ivory snail, and a purple. They were extremely active immediately after being acclimated to my tank and I'm extremely impressed by how they have seemingly adapted right away. Another sticking point for me was the quick responses from Ray and the ability to pick up locally. Definitely 5 stars from me.”

“Good food and atmosphere. Our waiter was really nice. As for the aquarium itself, it's a little short on features for the ticket price. Sad to say the Denver Zoo has a more impressive aquarium. That said, the freshwater exhibits are really cool and have local fish like trout. The environments are really nice. And aside from my very minor critique, I can't badmouth a place that serves as a sanctuary for animals. I will ways visit this place when given the chance.”

“I love Point Defiance Zoo! There aquariums are breathtaking and beautiful. So many wonderful animals to look at and learn about. I find that the animals have amazing habitats! The zoo does amazing work for endangered species! I highly suggest talking you kids and adults will have a great time too! I go once a year!”

“Went here on a whim and we loved it! Great weather and lots to see! There were plenty of people yet it was not crowded. The gentleman in the Fish, Frogs and Reptile exhibit was the best! He offered so much insight and really amazing facts/information about a fish we were in awe of. We were inspired to do more research on it once we arrived home. The few unavailable SALT & FRESH WATER fish I wanted happen to be sold out NO WORRIES..Steven put my order in they were available for pick up next day So excited I was, surprised and satisfied with Steven (Owner) Going above n beyond to help my Son and I . Not just say sorry and move on or try to upsell us on DIFFERENT fish he made sure we got what we wanted. # added tank cleaning survices every 2 weeks for new tank n every 7 weeks for older tank. “The trails were awesome. The main trails were wider, either packed dirt or gravel. There are hills and tree roots so the terrain varies. Lots of shade. The fish hatchery museum was not open but the area around it was interesting to look at. The geological site was pretty neat, too. Will definitely plan to visit again.”

“Really fascinating and beautiful to see all of the creatures who live here with each other! There are two tunnels to walk through and you are surrounded by water! It's really not that large, but there is a lot to see and it will take you about 1 1/2 hrs to 2 hrs to take in everything! Well done and certainly worth $20.00! I remember getting in free several years ago by showing them my I Voted Sticker so that was a treat. The star of the show was the giant 🐙 octopus who decided to make an appearance and get fed! They also had a Komodo Dragon that was really lazy and he would sunbathe on this huge rock! Very enjoyable and educational and I do recommend you bring your children here! They will love it and I loved it! ❤️💕😎🐙💧”
