“My wife and I have been so excited with our painting from Jason Nelson. We commissioned him with vague descriptions of a favorite lake from our honeymoon in Canada and he was able to listen very well and create a painting that far exceeded our expectations! Jason has such mastery of color and perspective that makes you want to be inside the painting. Now every time I look at the painting I want to be there at the lake enjoying the peace and quiet with my wife. His painting truly draws you into the smallest of details and then you “zoom out” and can sense the mathematical like perfection of nature as a whole. A painting we will continue to enjoy for years to come. Thank you Jason ;)”

“Very crowded, which makes a great antiques store! So many nooks and crannies filled with all sorts of treasures to unearth. The employees were very knowledgeable and kind and had a ton of fun stories about some of the items. There was even a working rotary phone I would have snatched up if I had a landline (lol). Definitely will be back, and highly recommend this is you're looking for a good treasure hunt!”

“The Gallery at York Hall is a haven for art. It features the creations of over 300 local artists. The work displayed there covers a wide range of mediums from hand made jewelry, to fiber and fine art and everything in between. It's located just above the York River on historic Main Street in Yorktown. There's plenty off street parking nearby or you can take the free trolley there that runs continually during the day. It's a gem! The Yorktown History Museum is in the basement of the building and is also worth visiting.”

“I’m down from Alaska visiting and my sister took me to this place so I can be amazed! I am very amazed! Look at my pictures, this place is incredible! The amount of show piece crystals and carving! I can’t praise this place enough, I was very taken by the level of knowledge the expert staff has and how friendly and courteous they were. I really enjoyed looking through this place. I have never seen this much crystals, petrified wood, Jewelry in one place! They offer shipping and they have a incredible selection of water fountains! This is a must see place! I was overwhelmed with all this place offers!”

“Artists: Jeanne Rundell, Janice Cook & Bill Cook are great artists in their own right, and doing fabulous work in unique art, creative pottery and extraordinary clay lighting. While visiting their fantastic location, we had the opportunity to get a first-hand tour of the shop, showroom and work area, seeing up close and personal how they create and produce their fantastic and whimsical works of art. Their story alone is inspiring, and we learned of the Artists personal passions which inspire such works of art, from design, to creation, to the kiln, the displays, to the showings, to point of purchase! We enjoyed Jeanne Rundell’s sweet, engaging manner, not to mention her personalizing and riveting enlightenments of their process of conceptualizations. We did indeed purchase a couple of unique, one-of-a-kind works (pics to follow) while there! We also had the opportunity to meet not only Jeanne, but Janice Cook and Bill Cook, the other artists comprising the heart, soul and art of “The Potteries”! For posterity, we were able to get a picture of my wife with Jeanne and Janice, the Artists who created the works we purchased. Ask them about their design and renovation of their store’s façade! Whenever in Mesilla, this is a place you cannot afford to miss… the art, the Artists, the showroom, workshop and their work cannot and should not be missed!”

“We won the princess photo season and we had such an amazing experience here for the princess portraits. They made my daughter feel very special and she enjoyed the photo shoot. They provide the outfits, shoes, and jewelry so it was perfect for my daughter who loves to dress up. The pictures are amazing and I can’t wait to show everyone. I would definitely recommend bringing your children here for this unique experience.”
