“The Lake Hiawatha Library in Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ, is a true haven for book lovers. During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of interacting with the knowledgeable and friendly librarian, KellyAnne, who provided me with an exceptional book recommendation. She suggested the remarkable memoir "Endurance: A Year in Space, A Lifetime of Discovery." From the moment I delved into the pages of this captivating memoir, I was transported into the awe-inspiring world of space exploration. The author's firsthand account of his year-long mission in space was nothing short of extraordinary. KellyAnne's recommendation showcased her deep understanding of my literary tastes and the ability to connect readers with incredible narratives. The Lake Hiawatha Library's commitment to offering exceptional reading experiences, coupled with the expertise of their staff, makes it a true gem for book enthusiasts in the area.”

“This library is such a treasure for the community. We have gotten our passports here, cooking classes, language classes, chess club, coding class, STEM nite and so much more in the past year. Of course there are the books and other numerous online resources here too. Reynolds that has been running many of the afterschool classes for the kids has boundless patience, enthusiasm, and knowledge to share with the children and is such a resource for this library. We really appreciate his dedication and the kindness as well as all of the staff working here!”

“For a public library in a small rural town, this library boasts the largest media collection I've ever seen in a public format. Not only is it well stocked with books, CDs, DVDs, books on tape and Blu-rays, the large building can accommodate a large number of visitors. This, coupled with their free masks, sanitizers, and return sanitization process allows for a safer experience in these trying times. The Zumbrota Public Library has saved me hundreds of dollars in rental or purchase fees of media and books just in the past few months that I've been cooped up at home. In the wake of covid-19, its turned into one of my most valuable resources for relaxation and combating boredom. No matter who you are, you'll find something here for you. As of August 3rd, 2020 masks are still mandatory while in the library, and are provided.”

“This branch of OC Public Library is located between an elementary school and middle school. You'll need to climb upstairs to get to the library. It's typically noisy due to the little ones learning, but there are areas where it is a bit quieter for studying. I saw a manga section for teens, literature from several languages, and a large section for the elementary students to scavenge to get to know the library's structure.”

“Great little library for the town. They decorated so cute for Christmas. They try really hard to have fun crafts once a week for the kids. The staff has been kind and not bothered by kids just being a little loud lol. We live outside of town but I was able to go to Jay County library in Portland and get a free library card, which can also be used at the Dunkirk library.”

“My favorite library. It's a quiet and cozy library with an enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff who are friendly and involved with their community. They engage with their patrons at all ages and across several platforms and topics. I enjoy each visit and they often introduce me (and others) to new books, authors, films, local spots and happenings. If you worry that a smaller branch might not be able to accommodate your needs...anything I have ever looked to borrow of they didn't have on hand they have managed to get it in from other libraries. They have located items city libraries weren't able to get in before. As I said my favorite library.”

“I really love it when my mom takes me to get books here, pretty good library 📚 for the reading and getting books to read like,My Weird School and etc. Best ever,no massshootings happens due to Weston crime rate. I love it so much with its books you can read. Also friendly staff members with no swear words to say. Good humor when they talk to civilians. Staff are nice when they are calling a person. Love this place so much with all the nice staff. I will always go to this place to get My Weird School books also the reading program is really nice. I love this place so much.”

“I love this lil library. It’s intimate and I feel right at home when I visit. They built a new library in Montgomery but I prefer this library over the new one. I’m just upset that since they build a new library, the hours at Mary Jacobs has now been reduced to only 4 hours in a day. That really doesn’t serve us especially when you need to study all day long and you need a quiet place like Mary Jacobs to do it in. This also does not encourage people to go to Mary Jacobs first. Most people like to get out early in the morning, and when this library opens at 2 PM and closes at 6 PM – – it doesn’t serve the community. I don’t know whose idea this was to slash the hours, but they need to have the library open from 10 AM to 8 PM daily—like it used to be.”

“Our new Felton branch is a lovely building with a wonderful atmosphere for reading or just browsing books. The librarians are helpful and the collection is tantalizing. I also enjoy scanning the sale books from the Friends of the SC Library that are usually on display at the entrance. Great contribution to our otherwise sleepy little town!”
