“First brought my dog Wyatt to Fusion CBD about 6 months ago where we met Sue. Wyatt had been diagnosed with Degenerative Myelopathy (ALS) about 6 months prior. With the information from Sue and CBD oil Wyatt is improving. He enjoys walking rather than being carried, his appetite is improved And he is regrowing hair he had lost. The 1st time I visited the store I had to carry Wyatt, by our 2nd visit he was able to walk around the store a little bit to show off for Sue and today he walked from the parking lot. 4/6/23 Wyatt and I just returned from Fusion in Lafayette. Wyatt has an appointment with Dr. Jon tomorrow as his DL (ALS) has advanced. Letting him cross the rainbow bridge tomorrow so we don't get into an emergency situation where he will suffer. Today's purchase was for a dear rendered with a cancer diagnosis. It was comforting to see Sue still there. Always helpful and kind. She shared in my sadness over Wyatt. I finally had a chance to do some shopping at The Depot and OBF and took time to drift into this little gem tucked in near the main entrance. HOLY COW y'all!! I will be back. There are precious few sweet treats that rank higher in my mind and caloric preferences than cheesecake. As in for high school graduation, I had no sheet cake with fancy decorations, but instead, served plenty of cheesecake. This farm kid has standards: no artificial flavors or ingredients, no fake whipped cream, I need allll the butter, and also can't handle crummy plain vanilla cheesecake with over sweetened "fruit" topping. If a restaurant is serving commercially produced food service cheesecake, I pass. Snobby? Yeah probably, but as I drifted along aimlesslessy following the coffee aroma into this divine little coffee shop with its artfully displayed colorful chocolates and treats in fine decadence in the front display cabinet, my eyes locked on a different display case and I snapped out of my trance. Remember the fancy display cases at your older relatives' homes that had the expensive heirloom dishes, figurines and crystal glassware in them? Well, be still my heart, at Chocolatte, those shelves of honor are where the CHEESECAKE IS!!!! OHHHH YESSSSS! This baby was loaded with three varieties of DIVINE cheesecake elegance. The super friendly staff member was entertaining all of my questions about their establishment when the Chef came out promenading a Dubai-esque Pistachio cheesecake of glory fresh for the cabinet. PURE CHEESECAKE BLISS friends, this was magical. I opted for a slice of the mocha cheesecake and MmMmmmmmMmm. Melt in your mouth cheesecake and chocolate-coffee perfection. I savored a small corner, saving the rest for later. I finished it as a Saturday work survival lunch with a plastic knife....because that was all I had in my vehicle, but I neeeeeded that. In. My. Belly! I am going to be rerouting my future travels via Chocolatte, and look forward to tasting the other flavors. Mind ya bizness if I gain weight from eating cheesecake lol, but seriously, go spend money on cheesecake, and chocolates, and coffee. It is so so so worth it if you love cheesecake! YUM!”

The cookies in the case are enticing to have with am coffee or eat them here. Many other decadent choices, too. They have a nice music soundtrack playing and beautiful, relaxing scenery on the tv. The building itself is an antique with very interesting tidbit’s! A ton of antiques from dolls, toys, housewares you name it. Take your time and be careful not hitting anything as there are a lot of glass objects everywhere! The store owner is the nicest guy in the world just walking into the store and talking to him is worth it. I think i talked his ear off but i did get to score a few antique items. Support local small businesses, highly recommend this place if ever back in the area, would definitely revisit!!”

“This is a great place to go for families or even for just the adults. When you first walk in there is a whole set up of different kinds of art you can choose to paint. They have big to small pieces ranging anywhere from like 10-25$. They also have special items for the upcoming holidays, like right now they have Easter themed ceramic art to choose from. I painted a skull change holder and my girlfriend painted a jewelry box and they both turned out way better than what we thought they would, we were really happy with the finished product. The people there were very friendly, helpful, and helped us with the bubble painting effect we both tried on our pieces. I would definitely go back again.”
