“We went to the celebration dinner for Israel's 75th anniversary recently. We were very impressed with the dedication of the Temple members in preparing and executing this wonderful affair. The food and music were fantastic. There was lots of dancing and a great amount of Joy. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend everyone to check out Temple Beth Am in Margate”

“I recently joined, I'm converting. I absolutely love it. I started going to the class, I have watched on YouTube for the services which are amazing. I can't wait to come back for each class and to watch each service. Cantor Lauren is great at explaining everything and I love the singing. Rabbi David is very nice and helpful with my wanting to convert. Thank you all for being so nice and open.”

“So welcoming and loving!!! Im from Connecticut originally and havent attending synagogue in many years after my grandfather passed away. I was afraid to go because my husband and the few friends ive met out in San Jose are not Jewish, so i knew i would be going by myself and not know anyone. The Rabbi, his family, and the whole congregation was so accepting when i met them that i knew i wouldn't want to go anywhere else!!!”

“There are members of the shul that are very upset that their davening and learning is disturbed by events in the simchah hall in the basement. This is a problem by every hall that is in a shul. But most shuls need it for the money. However the members of this shul claim that they do not need the money. But for some reason the gabbai continues to rent out the hall. So I do not recommend using this hall for your simchah. It is bittul torah and teffilah, and some of your guests will probably unfortunately be made to feel unwanted. If you do choose to use this hall for your simchah, or if you are invited to a simchah in this hall, then there are probably things to keep in mind. There is the volume of the music. And only the basement is rented out. So you should probably try to stay in the basement.”

“Temple Tikvah is truly a house of worship that feels like a home. I have been to many services and programs in a variety of synagogues in Nassau and Queens and this is the warmest most welcoming environment that I have encountered. The clergy is friendly and approachable, the services are lively, the music is amazing, and the congregants are like friends you just haven't seen in a while. This is the Cheers of Synagogues, where everybody knows your name, they are always glad you came, and there is a seat already waiting for you. The services, programs and events are well organized and well attended, and the membership fees are some of the most reasonable in the area. There are a lot of congregants from Nassau and Queens, and a few from Suffolk County. The religious school and children's programs are also one of the most diverse and comprehensive being offered locally. The building is lovely, boasting a beautiful new sanctuary, excellent caterer on site, and a nice ball room available for rental.”

“If you're looking for a place where you don't get lost in the crowd, where the services are amazing, the Rabbi and Cantorial Soloist are warm and caring people, and so are the members of Temple Kol Ami, this is the place to join. The religious school is great, and there are wonder things planned for young children, as well as the older children, and adults. Friday October 12, 2018 is Shabbat Live, and the band will be adding to the Friday night service. Come and join us!”
