The tours she found for us were special, and she knew who to use and we had the best tour guides. There was never one moment of regret or disappointment, only smiles and wonderment from the incredible experience. Posters give a lesson in the people who established the towns along the River. The nuanced discussion of slavery gives credit to the remarkable achievements of African Americans in the face of unimaginable obstacles. The aquarium looks to be under development but is still impressive.”

“Our daughter has been taking riding lessons with RJ for about a year. He is always patient, extremely knowledgeable, and makes riding and learning about caring for horses a lot fun. “Great campground! Beautiful common areas and lake; scenic but 5 minutes from town with everything you could need. Sites are roomy with brand new hook-ups and nicely level. Hardly a bad site in the place but for a tiny handful I noticed out of well over 100. Many buddy sites and small clusters well-oriented for group camping. The General Store is fully-stocked and even serves fried snacks and drinks if you're inclined. Live music on the weekends. I usually don't like all-gravel parks, but they've actually done an incentible job with it. Will definitely be back for a longer stay in warm weather.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Wildflower cabin! The driveway does require 4WD and is very steep, so heed the warnings! Private, quiet location. Cabin was very clean and stocked with various essentials needed, especially in the kitchen. The screened in porch was lovely and we enjoyed spending our mornings out there. The hot tub was also great to relax in after a day of hiking! Teresa was very communicative, and answered all of our questions promptly. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay!”

“We just spent a long weekend at the Turkeyfoot Inn with our family and rented the entire place for a third year in a row. The entire property is immaculately clean, and well-maintained. Some people traveled to Ohiopyle. Some fished and some kayaked. Others just relaxed. Some dined in the area. The food was excellent. There are some nice bars. We also did a lot of cooking and eating at the Turkeyfoot Inn. We have already booked 2024 for the fourth time. If you are wanting to have a family getaway, try the Turkeyfoot Inn.
