“Brand new campus location: When I took a class in the fall of 2019, the wireless wifi was VERY slow to the point where it isn’t worth counting on for serious tasks. Facility is very clean and can get overcrowded during the day if you like your personal space to study. I found the student demographic to be very young.”

“I have nothing but love for Greenwood Healthcare College. April and her staff were outstanding in all areas. English is not my birth language and I sometimes have difficulty understanding new subjects especially if the teacher doesn't speak clearly or uses slang. I could always understand April like she was someone I've known all my life, I can understand her English better than my husband's (lol he was born in San Diego). “I've taken around 10 CPR classes over the years and this was by far the best. Donya is a tremendous instructor and the practice mannequins are unlike anything I've ever seen. The real-time feedback they provide for the students is just fantastic. I also appreciated the extra time Donya took with my son after he performed poorly on the written test at the end of the class. She read through every question with him, along with every answer choice, to make sure he understood them. Once she did this, he got every single answer correct! This was above and beyond service and was appreciated more than you can imagine!!”

“A few years ago, I attended a "Concept Painting with Photoshop" and a "Basic Corel Painter" digital painting class that changed the way I worked. I had used only a small portion of the painting power that Photoshop offered and I had never worked in Corel Painter before this class. When both classes were over, I never worked the same way again. My skills had solidly improved and I began to have the confidence I needed to seek and attain a number of freelance illustration contracts. The instructors are patient, understanding and subject matter experts. If you are lucky enough to receive instruction from Master Painter Roger Barcilon, you will benefit immensely from his wealth of experience and knowledge. If you are looking to earn a 4-year diploma in visual arts and communications, check out their degree plan. If you can participate in one of their summer painting or digital graphics week-long courses, I recommend you attend. It was well worth it and changed my career and enjoyment of art.”

“Any college experience will mostly be what you make of it, and who you choose to spend your time with. Northwestern provided excellent resources for academic and spiritual growth (legit professors, excellent dorm community, daily chapel opportunities, and local outreach ministries). But, the professors you take will change your experience a lot. So, choose carefully, ask for advice from older and more mature students, and spend time planning your schedule. Don't expect your advisor to help you pick the best profs who might change your life. I went through the engineering program, which was amazing. Wouldn't want anything else. The academics are good here. But I also invested my life in the community, hall ministry, leadership opportunities, spiritual growth, and God did great things. It is incredible all he did in spite of all I am not. Northwestern provides an environment for much potential, but it isn't everything. Rooting yourself in a local church will be of the utmost importance and it was equally important in shaping my time at Northwestern. Finding godly mentors and role-models is also a top priority. Last note, if you have godly roommates who are zealous for the gospel, living on campus will be an equally life-changing experience. It's worth the extra cash.”
