“I'm so incredibly thankful for these ladies and gentlemen for saving my boy! Big Zod was taken to MedVet with a urinary tract blockage and wasn't given the best care. He came back to me with four days' worth of sedation that the vets at Maria Stein had to work around. His kidney and liver levels were off the chart and he had an infection developing in his lungs. He really was very close to death, but these guys performed a miracle and brought him back! He was given a feeding tube, as he refused to eat for five days and wouldn't take force feedings. He was sent home with medicine and special food to help bring him back to health. This feeding tube really saved him, and I'm so grateful for it and the amazing vets at Maria Stein Animal Clinic for their care and compassion. I can't say enough how grateful I am for them and the magic of the feeding tube! Zod is doing so good and he's back to being my spunky guy!”

“I cannot say enough good things about FMAC. So far they’ve cared for 3 of our babies - an anxiety ridden Malinois with a heart condition, a rescue with fear aggression, and our most recent addition from the cat distribution system. The entire staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and compassionate. Ryan is always a pleasure and so informative, all the techs and assistants are so patient and caring with my dysfunctional crew, and Dr. Shank always spends more time with us than most other doctors so I leave well informed and I feel like she genuinely cares for each animal. Prices are pretty average if not less than many other practices, wait times are MUCH shorter. Couldn’t have asked for a better team for my babies.”

“Today we had to put down our sweet German Shepherd Hercules at Surry County Animal Hospital, and the compassion and kindness we received here this morning was incredible. “2023 was a rough year for me, especially when my beloved cat, Lily, became ill and required medical treatment and hospitalization over the course of several very stressful days. The doctors and staff took such wonderful care of her, and did not give up despite her very stubborn condition. Eventually, a treatment worked and my girl was released with strict instructions for a prescription diet, medication, and close monitoring. She is now well, and is at a much healthier weight. “This a great veterinary clinic. My cat wasn’t eating or drinking much. She was very lethargic. I wasn’t a client here but when I called they were able to see her that day. Person at front desk knew who we were when we arrived. Vet tech saw us right away. Doctor came in promptly. Went over what they wanted to do and gave me prices which is nice. I didn’t feel their prices were exorbitant. Well she has rebounded so I thank this clinic for all they have done for her.”

Other places were nice but Crossroads is special. They go above and beyond to provide exceptional care. Dr Jamie is kind, knowledgeable and a great listener. Every staff member we’ve encountered is welcoming, helpful and professional. “We had the best experience with East Coast Hoof and Wellness Center. John and his team are amazing. We were a new client switching from another farrier due to issues. Our one horse was very lame when we called John. He was quick to respond and great at communicating both texting and calling. He worked with us to fit us in to get our mare feeling better and set up a plan to fix her problem feet. He explained everything so we have a better understanding ourselves. Our gelding was done too but was not lame so more of a basic shoeing. Their feet now look great and our mare is already showing improvement. I highly recommend him and his team! 10/10”

“So glad we took our sweet geriatric cat here at the recommendation of All Creatures Animal Hospital due to feline tooth reabsorption surgery complications. They were knowledgeable, informative, took extremely good care of our cat, were polite when we called with questions on aftercare, and we're easy to find and book time with to boot. I know when we visited they were overwhelmed with appointments and short staffed, but it didn't affect their level of care. I have highly recommendeded this group to many friends and will continue to do so. Our sweet boy would not be as happy and healthy today as he would have been without them.”

“This vet clinic is absolutely amazing! We had to put our dog down recently due to some issues he was having with an autoimmune issue as a puppy. They treated him for this as well and he was able to live a longer life but it already affected this joints and back so much. The staff showed so much compassion to me and my dad as we put him to sleep and gave us as much time as we needed. “They treated our Buddy boy so well. My mom was very anxious taking their dog in as he had a pretty traumatic experience at a different vet. Dr. Coleman did his surgery (hip luxation), and when Buddy was picked up my mom was so pleased to discover he was not fearful like he was at the last place. It was obvious they treated him well and he had a comfortable experience. The place isn't just jam packed with people and pets (unlike somewhere else). Here, it was much more appropriately paced, making it far less stressful for the animals being seen. Everything was explained so well. We're very pleased and appreciative of their quick help to us, as well as their understanding of a stressed out pet parent who's feeling a bit uneasy.
