“We had the first dinner of our whole week in Amsterdam. Such a nice restaurant with very warm and sweet service. The owner was super nice to use. The food is quite Dutch traditional food. A little heavy but quite delicious. You must try the stew. It’s super good. If you have no idea to order, I recommend their sets. Like menu 2/3/4 sound very good and easy to choose.”

“The food was gorgeous, and they were able to fit in 10 of us on very little notice. It was somewhat quiet, with one waitress serving, but she made sure everyone was taken care of, double checked whenever she wasnt completely certain, very politely attended to our extra requests, and even comforted my partner who had to step outside for some fresh air before the meal. Oh, and the Peking duck with steamed pancakes were fantastic. Amazing black bean sauce, too!”

“We stumbled upon this wonderful cocktail bar on our first day in Amsterdam. Our server, Francois, treated us with the best hospitality and cleverly joked around with us all night. The craft cocktails are delicious and the vibe of the place, as well as the service, are top notch. We ate the crunchy chicken and pork buns and both were high quality snacks. As an added bonus they have heated cushions and blankets if you’re seated outside and are cold. One of the best experiences we have had to date!”

“Kind and helpful staff, teasty food beautiful 🍷! BUT have to say that with only 1 bartender the drink orders can be delayed 20-30 minutes easily. The owner of this place SHOULD NOT save money on that part as they will loose potential guests. Staff really tried their best especially the 1really professional waiter but it was a busy night and their mission was impossible as they are humans! I hope that the owner will read this and start think about that he/she should take less profit into the pocket but invest more into the system!!! “First time here a few days ago. It was lovely. Our waitress Christine/Christina (forgive me if the name is incorrect) was lovely. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Food was tasty. The wait for the main course was a little long but I think they were waiting for us to finish our appetizers. The crabs also could have had a little bit more seasoning. But that’s just a personal preference. I also think the price to portion ratio is a bit unbalanced. Leaning towards the overpriced end. Overall a good experience. Would probably come again to try the Seafood Tower!”

“It was cold, windy and rainy and we were hungry. So we walked in to get away from the cold and sat down. Ordered a lasagna and a prosciutto pizza. We asked for tap water and nothing to drink but our waiter shook his head to suggest it’s better to order bottled water instead of tap water. We agreed and joked “he doesn’t think we know that Amsterdam has one of the cleanest tap water in the world” LOL In any case the food was delicious and the service was prompt and attentive.”

My family had the steak (his was over cooked), tuna, and the ravioli. Pros: The lamb was the star of the show. Everything is presented beautifully. Beautiful setting Cons: One steak was over cooked while the other was not I had to ask for my wine 3 times before I received it. The rest of my table received their second drink before I received my first.”
