“We really enjoyed our Christmas Eve dinner at REM. One can see the attached six courses menu. Every course was delicious, beautifully presented and well served. We were also very thankful that our dog was allowed to enter the restaurant. The view is great and the restaurant building is very special. Definitely recommended for everyone to come and experience! Most important the service is super! Everyone was so friendly and helpful! Thanks for the memorable evening. We’ll for sure come back again!”

“Phenomenal coffee!! Apparently they're coming out with their own range of beans too. And the owner is lovely!”

“One of the best African restaurant in the town. The host is super kind & funny. Food is really tasty and service is very fast. Very authenticate African place. Don’t expect the plates and cutlery, you will eat with your fingers and share the food. Try date cake - that is warm and with the cream. Try African coffee that is serve in the special pots. There is the beer from banana, coconut & mango - if you never had it, it’s time to try it (only 3,6 % alcohol). We will come again. Thank you for a great place & food ! 🙏”

“I ate so much after so long. Taste is just amazing and portion size is huge. Food is not too spicy but it is amazing. Roti with chicken on bone is a must have. Chicken is so tender and goes well with potatoes. Moksi meti special is also amazing and should be tried with white rice only. It costs around 10€ per person only.”

“Absolutely fantastic food and service. Drinks are unique and delicious. Steak cuts are perfect, flavors are perfect. The restaurant itself is beautiful and comfortable. We had a fantastic time, a cozy find in central tourist district. Don't let the location fool you, it's a gem!”

“Very nice place. The food is amazing and the menu always has something new to offer: new type of scone or new breakfast. The coffee is great and a cookie for it is homemade with a nice selection of spices. The employees are very welcoming! Really love the place and if I want to go for brunch — this is my top 1 choice.”

“Nice hotel overall. It is a heritage building offering beautiful character and yes the hallways are tiny so if you have lots of luggage it's a bit of a workout. My room and bathroom were very modern and clean. I was located on an upper floor at the end of the hall so couldn't hear other guests. The room offered nice views of the cute neighbourhood and the bed was comfortable. Hotel is close to great coffee, several tram lines and Vondelpark but still offers peace and quiet. I thought it was good value even with the city tax.”

“The ramen here is really tasty. I enjoyed it but I wish there were a few more options for plant-based diets! My main critique is regarding the size of the restaurant. Unfortunately it is very cramped inside and as a dining party of 3, we were crammed at a table that barely fit our food. I recommend coming here during the week or simply getting take-away.”

“As a tea lover myself, this tea house felt like home. It has a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, like any tea house should be. Teas varieties are great and the staff are friendly and well informed. The cherry cocktail tea was so tasty flavorful.”

“Pretty good American bbq restaurant for Dutch standards. We took 2x times the share platter so we could try all the dishes. The ribs are the star of the night, tender, fall right of the bone with natural flavors. Pulled pork and cheeks were nice. Turkey and the brisket a bit less. For sides the smokey beans is a must try. Total cost between 30-40 euro per person including drinks and 3 desserts is quite good.”

“This was a lovely experience! Our experience was fantastic, steak was full of flavor and cooked perfectly! Our waiter was accommodating and made sure our dinner was top notch. We visited from USA, and tried to find a great spot for steak and this was it. Thank you!”

“The fries were good but nothing special. The portions are quite reasonable but at the end you might feel heavy because of the amount of fried potatoes. They also offer a great variety of dips which are ordered as an extra. There may have cue but the service is really fast because they are frying potatoes without stopping. I ordered the truffled mayonnaise and then seasoned them with some spices. Personally, I think is better to share the fries and not eating them only as a main meal.”

“Good stop for a quick slice of pizza (pretty obvious). Prices are reasonable and I recommend checking the meal deals before ordering. As per the staff all the meat is halal.. and its a mean pizza.”

“Steamed or fried, baked or boiled, you have it all on the dim sum menu! And it’s delicious! And if you don’t like dim sum, don’t worry! There are other dishes to enchant your taste buds! But be aware! You might want to reserve a table upfront if you don’t want to queue for it!”

“I had a really good dinner with my wife. We choose 5 course menu which costs 80€ pp. While doing the reservation, you pay 20€ pp. Our table is on the upstairs and atmosphere is really really nice. Service is not fast or slow, you wait just enough for the next course. We choose an Argentinian white wine and enjoy a lot. Ireland oysters are also tasty with their special sauce. I would recommend this place bit keep in mind that reservation is highly required.”

“Small and cosy cafeteria. They have homemade cakes and muffins. The muffins are very good but I found the carrot cake a bit raw and with too many ingredients. 📝 Good service. The waitress was very nice 💰 Good price considering the location.”

“They had 4 home brew on tap but I only tasted 2, the imperial stout and the IPA. Definitely worthy! I’m a stout person but as I was at the bar and I saw many people order the IPA I had to try. Food was also delicious. I had a typical Bulgarian dish with veggies and feta cheese. You might thing oh it’s just veggies but it’s a meal, I got full. Not so full that I couldn’t eat the chocolate cake made with stout! Amazing! Owner and staff are very friendly, good atmosphere and very unique. I totally recommend if you would like to experience something out of the crazy crowded!”

“The food is amazing! It's a rare find. I highly recommend it. The people working there are also really sweet and helpful. If the weather is good, the outdoor seating is definitely worth it. There is a good variety of food available. Vegetarian/Vegan friendly as well :)”

“I finally got the chance to try The Breakfast Club and their chicken waffle and I was not disappointed. Chicken is nice and spicy, the waffle is crispy, I definitely recommend you try it. Also had the orange juice and the blueberry muffin and both were very good too!”

“A nice Halal Dim Sum restaurant in the heart of Amsterdam. Easy going, good food and a very rich choice of bubble tea (hot, cold).”

“Le Pub at Leidseplein is a great place to have a drink and spend a good time. It has two ambiences, interior and terrace. The terrace is a great place to observe Amsterdam’s life passing by. Drinks are great, and food is correct. In fact, food comes from a nearby restaurant, and it is not elaborated in Le Pub. Service is dynamic and kind. Good place to be.”

“A friend of mine recommended this place for fondue 🫕 It was nice but not sure I’ll go back. Still hungry after steak, fondue, salad and baguette so went to have something else after. Steak was tender and nice.”

“It's bit inside, opposite Little India and quite busy restaurant, Very good food, their Schotels are best, we had kipfilet and pindakaas kip schotel and it was perfect, price wise it was economical too”

“High quality food in an area filled with touristy average food. The seafood was delicious. We booked a reservation but on this evening didn't need to as it was slow. Still, I'd recommend reserving a table. Happy we chose this place.”

“This place might not seem like the place to be from the interior, but it is such a nice vibe. I know the pictures of the food ain’t much, but I was too busy eating the amazing food. The meat is super flavourful and the pace and variety that passes your table is just right. It is a bit on the salty side, but the flavours just explode in your mouth. I think this will be one of my regular spots!”

“A wonderful dinner experience in an exquisite establishment in the heart of Amsterdam. Goat cheese quiche as starter to share, a steak tartare and a steak with mushroom sauce and potato pure along with a glass of red wine comprised our dinner menu during our last day in the city. Highly recommended. Reservation is a must.”

“Dined here last night, and it was superb. The hostess was incredibly kind and charming, and exemplified hospitality. I found the interior decor to be interesting and pleasing to eye, but in no way overly busy or distracting. The seating was comfortable and spacious. For beverages we had the fresh lemonade, which was wonderfully refreshing and not too sweet, and traditional Ethiopian tea which was quite flavorful. For dinner we shared the lentil soup, and then vegan combination for two. Every single item was wonderfully flavorful and delicately spiced. And I have never had better injera in my entire life. Go and enjoy this local gem.”

“Can’t speak to any of the food as our party stopped in to enjoy a coffee while we waited for a scheduled event. The hosts got us in immediately and the ordering from your phone with a QR code meant you could have minimal interruptions before, during, and after your food. The coffees were good and so was the muffin. Bit steep on price for water at 3,50€ for a small bottle so I definitely recommend going to a Spar or Lidl and carrying your own water with you. That goes for anywhere in this city. Overall, we enjoyed it and it gave us a good break from the wind while we waited. Really enjoyed it.”
