“All Food are hygiene and best test of Asian style food especially for someone who miss tasty Asian meal with the oily chilly sources for hot and spicy dishes. I recommend this for all. For the staff, they are welcome and willing to help you to suggest for your favorite food with Asian smile. The shop rather small but can be supported for 60 people, but the table and chairs are bit small. Anyway, I recommend this shop.”

“Amazing selection of Japanese knives and super knowledgeable owner! Left the store feeling I know a bit more about the craftsmanship behind high-quality knives, and 100% happy with my purchase. Highly recommended!”

“The cheese bar is a really unique experience and a total must do whilst in Amsterdam. Would have appreciated better explanation of what the cheese are on the menu as it was quite hard to figure out by just their names. Also portions are on the bigger side so if you’re going as a smaller group it’s hard to get through several cheeses (we were 3 people and had 4 cheeses).”

“The place was very great and I'll definitely be back when in Amsterdam! They've got plenty of tables with seata for the visitors to consume what they've bought from the coffeeshop and it's a friendly place where you can enjoy your stay that would make you feel relaxed.”

“Very interesting venue, it seems to be some sort of old bank. There is a table downstairs in a very private and bank themed setting, suitable for groups of 10 to 12 people. The food was good, but not outstanding. Wide and good selection of wines. If you come during a cold day, make sure to bring warm clothes as quite chilly inside. “We did a workshop recently and loved the experience. Everything was well prepared and the information about candles from Isil was very enlightening. Made me think about the use of candles and how I can continue using them sustainably. The ambience in the studio is wonderful too, and Isil was a great tutor and host. Overall, awesome and a unique experience!”

“Had an amazing dinner here even though the restaurant is quite small. Definitely fitting for a place called Klein Afrika, it gives you a taste of Afrika from the atmosphere to the food. I really enjoyed the Ethiopian dishes and the prices are really reasonable as well. One last thing is the service was splendid and everyone was friendly, five stars!”

“Interesting museum with an interesting take on colonial ancestry of the Netherlands. That was a predominant theme in the museum. Various exhibitions on many floors. The central hall is a beautiful place, although its vast emptiness feels there's something missing. Would be a good place for some huge highlights of a temporary exhibition etc. Despite visible efforts, the navigation leaves much to improve.”

“The best apple pie that I’ve ever tasted. Very small area inside to sit and relax but anyway you should definitely taste whipped cream apple pie! Definitely recommend!”

“I went to H.A.A during my trip to Amsterdam after booking a listening session on their website. Stefan greeted me and welcomed me to his store. I ended up spending a good amount of time trying out lots of high-end headphone and amps which gave me clarity on what I liked, that beats any amount of forum threads or YouTube reviews. I also got genuine advice from Stefan based on his experience. Highly recommend this place and experience.”

“Possibly Amsterdam's best daycare center. We shopped around for quite a bit and were in a good daycare before moving, but Compananny really blew us away. This is one of the most professional organisations I have ever come across - up there with Coolblue, Simyo and Greenchoice. We get daily digital pictures and reports including what she ate, how long she napped, number of toilet visits, the works. They employ child pedagogues who survey that the Nannies adhere to their pedagogical policy, and also answer questions from parents regarding education in different phases, etc. They have lots of activities, organic food, and they take their staffing very, very seriously which is a sight for sore eyes. If only primary schools handled personnel like they do... Well, I have the pleasure of seeing their playground from my balcony and sometimes I'll hear them playing and shouting, and I'll look outside and they're having exactly the fun and shenanigans I'd expect 2-4 year olds to have. Of course, they sometimes get into trouble or hurt themselves, but the nannies are really great. My daughter feels completely at home here, and that's exactly how I'd hope her to spend her time away from home. Incidentally, if you're a neighbour and dislike either kids, loud noises, or waking up before noon, seriously reconsider how you make your housing decisions instead of posting dishonest Google reviews.”

“Quaint little restaurant/bar. Decor of retro concert posters from years past. I had a great mixed drink and enjoyed my food too. Noise level was normal for a bar in downtown Amsterdam. 😉 I would go back.”

“Stopped in while hiking back to the hotel just before closing. Professionally run shop, clean, comfortable, great menu, very good pricing, excellent cake. Hands down though, the star of De Kroon is the most handsome coffeeshop cat I've ever encountered. This dude is the boss of this shop and he KNOWS it. He walks around like the floor boss of a Vegas casino. What a tude this cat has. Hilarious. The staff here was great, and even though there were just minutes to close, they accomodated everyone in the most professional and courteous manner. A great little shop.”

“Love this place. The brigadeiro is awesome too and the owner (Lucas) is such a friendly gentleman as we shared some jokes and backgrounds. He even gave me a €2 discount! 😁 (Thank you Lucas!) We had a crack at a couple choices and all of them were really interesting! If you are ever in Amsterdam, be sure to drop by and check this place out.”

“I started using the workspace at Herengracht this week and have loved the experience so far. The staff and people there have all been welcoming, friendly and helpful and I’ve quickly felt at home. The location is great and the facilities are perfect to have a successful working day. The final point is what great value for money is offered by this facility, it’s genuinely incredible what you get for the price. Also, free coffee. I’ll only be in Amsterdam for 10 weeks and I can already imagine how much I’ll miss this place.”

“I highly recommend Bike Fair. It is hard to find a second hand bike shop, which I thought was odd in the Netherlands or it’s just not very easy or straight forward. I was very relieved to find Bike Fair, I checked if they were a reputable company. The process was so easy, I was able to filter on exactly what I wanted. The information provided helped me make a sensible and well informed decision (age, damage) no surprises. I was very happy that I could get the additional security items and that setting up insurance was also available. I received constant communication from the team. The delivery happened sooner than expected and I was very pleased overall. The additional items came separately and I received a follow up call. Bike Fair just removed all stress from the process. Anyone that is buying a second hand bike should contact them.”

“We only had two days in Amsterdam and we wanted to do what the locals do so we hired bicycles! We found that booking and paying was easy and the staff were really friendly and happy to answer our questions. We enjoyed our coffee and sweet before the ride and loved that there were racks of pre-loved clothes to sift through beforehand too! All in all, a very good service with fair fees and located very close to Central Station. We preferred to cycle out of the busy city centre and headed out along a path by the river to see a windmill and have a picnic lunch in a park. It was so good to be on bikes.”
