But in addition to the daily menu, I can’t wait to try their other specials… fried crab legs, fried lobster tail, rotating desert specials. “I was able to join the waiting list ahead of time so once I got there it was maybe a 5 minute wait. The staff were friendly and quick with our drinks. I did not have a timer to see how long it took for our food but for it to be so busy it did not feel like a long time at all. The shrimp & grits "morning meditation" were both superb! “We are new to Laveen and moved in the day before Thanksgiving. We had no plans for Thanksgiving dinner and no appliances to cook with yet. Thankfully Pho Laveen was open and able to have an order for pickup ready within half an hour. The food was amazing! We had some family in town helping us move so we ordered quite a few different dishes and ate them family style. Each new dish we tasted was just as good, if not better than the last. We are so excited to have such a great restaurant so close to our new home!”

Although the location is somewhat hidden, it is truly a great place to come visit, and cry at while studying for your organic chemistry final :/ The location is accessible for those who are wheelchair bound, and there is reasonable room for moving around the location. There is also a small corner dedicated to celebrity mugshots and it's honestly iconic. Amazing place to frequent and a great company to support.”

Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of their pastries — the key lime pie is neither very tart or sweet at all and the red velvet cake and salted chocolate chip cookies are equally disappointingly bland. The merchandising at LGO is so fantastic, with so many interesting books and cute gifts. All in all, highly recommended.”

The chicken was juicy, all the meat was wonderfully tender. The flavor and texture of the rice is PERFECT. The salad is not just a Lil salad thrown on the side, that cucumber salad is also packed with flavor. Hummus and dessert was exceptional as well. If you have never had food from Afghanistan, you have got to try this place!”

“Good food and friendly service! I got the soft shell crab and the two sushi roll lunch special. Both the crab and sushi were delicious and fresh. The sushi rice was a little extra, but they weren’t cheap on the salmon. Service took a little bit, but they just might not have been prepared for all the people who came to the hotel for conferences. I would recommend going for lunch!”

This is a beautiful little neighborhood establishment that takes great pride in its offerings. Staff was extremely knowledgeable and had passion for what they do. We had a lovely meal, drinks and dessert. All choices were excellent and our server was perfect. If you have an opportunity, please check them out! Absolutely amazing! Quite possibly one of the best entree's I've had in Phoenix. Had the Tamarind Fish, like I said above, amazing! Awesome cocktails, friendly employees and relaxing atmosphere. “I love eat at Gorditas Wendy !! My favorite dish is the Pollo a la plancha!! The salsa is perfect for me it has an average amount of spicy and heat from the chili 🌶. The tortillas are hand made.
