“Good stuff: - EXCELLENT, FRIENDLY SERVICE - Amazingly clean and organized - High quality meats and ingredients - Reasonable prices -stroller/family friendly - outdoor dining available Not so good stuff: - Parking (especially during rush hour) Came to the 17th Street deli during a lunchtime rush, about 11:30am, on a Saturday. If you're in a rush I suggest calling in the order to expedite the process. I decided to come in to get a "feel" for the place. First thing I notice is how WELCOMING the staff is. There's a home-y type feel to it, like, just walked in to my grandma's house and they just made food. Second, the cleanliness and organization is tops. It didn't seem to have a stale feel, where there is dust on the chips stand. Third, and probably most importantly, quality of meats and ingredients are superb. I, myself, ordered the roasted turkey breast sandwich ($9.99) with avocado ($1.50). For myself, the bread was a tad dry but everyone has their preference. Maybe I can just remedy that with extra Mayo. 😂. On the downside though is the parking. It's in a strip mall, shared with other restaurants and businesses. As with most parking in this area, as i mentioned before, the rush hour time (lunch or dinner) might have you circling the parking lot a couple times while a spot opens up. All in all, a great place and highly recommended. It's a family friendly joint, with great service and awesome sandwiches!”

“Love this breakfast spot. They have so many options and the food is SO good! Indoor and outdoor seating, dog friendly on the patio. The service was excellent. Our server Rob was very attentive. The pizza was fantastic, in the words of my 8 year old son, "...the most toppings I've ever seen in my tiny little life!". My wife stated it was the best she has had since being in New York City. “I'm kinda biased with this review. Shakey's is pretty popular in my country and I miss it so much. We don't have it in Georgia and the closest one which is in Alabama already closed 2 yrs ago. When I learned that there are lots of Shakey's locations in California, I was so excited. We went there for lunch, The original plan is just to order Shakey's special thin crust, chicken and mojos potatoes. The cashier is kind enough to let us know that their lunch buffet is available and we can try variety. I post a picture of chicken and mojos which I put gravy on top, it may not be for everyone but I suggest trying it. Over all it's all worth it. I love it. Anyone who reads this and if you were able to visit the Philippines. Try our Shakey's as well you might be surprise.”

My advice for the soup would be for them to add some rice, corn, and other inexpensive ingredients, like soups are know for, to make it a far better value, just like they showed in the picture they uploaded. So highly recommend adding the expense of ordering a side of rice to build the hardiness of the soup, which will make it delicious, but not necessarily the best value. The place generally has a nice festive atmosphere. It's not uncommon to hear festive traditional music playing loud and customers spontaneously getting up and dancing, or ... dead silence... depending on the mood.”

They don’t allow outside food/beverages which made me a little apprehensive going in, but the food was better than what we would have brought in (pizza was a hit with kids and adults). So far I've tried the jajangmyeon, bibimbap, ramen, tteokbokki, galbi (beef ribs), bulgogi (beef), and gimmari (seaweed vegetable rolls). Everything I've gotten off the menu so far is so delicious! My favorites are the bulgogi, jajangmyeon, and galbi! The food is always fresh and hot when you pick it up. Aside from the food, the staff is always so kind and welcoming. “First time I've been to this restaurant. I was just in town for business and looking for some good Greek food and found this place on reviews. I'm glad I discovered it because I ordered a Greek salad with a side of gyro meat (a bit too expensive for just a side of gyro at $8.50) but I have to say the food was delicious! All the ingredients in the salad or fresh and crunchy and it was a nice mix in the Greek salad. My meal included pita bread & tzatziki sauce. Restaurant seem pretty busy when I was there so I'm pretty sure the locals have discovered it's a good place to eat. I agree and you will too if you go!”
