“This morning I met some friends for a quick bite before heading back to Reno to work. The server was quick to get me a menu and promptly took my order. Because I was in somewhat of a rush, I ordered a 1/2 order of Biscuits and Gravy. It was the perfect size and amount and not too much like biscuits and gravy can tend to be. Even though it was smothered in gravy, the biscuit was really good and had that homemade taste. The gravy was good and that of the usual gravy taste, but nothing to super rave about. It was nice to sit at the bar in the sun room and be able to watch cars pass by and people walking. As I left, I saw what looked to be a patio area with tables and a makeshift stage. I'm interested if they have live music and plan to call and find out.”

“Our crew (adults & kids) had an awesome experience - renting a 27' Cobalt from Sunnyside. A+! We came up for the week and our day on the Lake was the highlight of the trip. We went out for 6 hours with a very knowledgeable and experienced driver (Dana B), who took us sightseeing on the West Side & the Nevada Side - ranging from seeing incredible waterfalls, the Godfather estate, CaveRock to even seeing a wedding in progress on a boat. One cool part was at lunch time when we just drove up to Sunnyside dock and we ate great food and enjoyed a couple of drinks. In short, the boat was clean, the Captain was cool, professional and very "in tune" with the appropriate level of speed for tubing in different lake conditions (esp. for the kids). VERY safe experience. These guys rock! We will definitely do it again with Sunnyside.”

“Red's was great! Nice location on the corner. Plenty of great views of downtown Loomis, and people watching to do while seated. Reservations are recommended, but we were seated quickly as a walk-in around 7:00 p.m. on a Monday evening. Great atmosphere inside, and the food did not disappoint. Everything was delicious from start to finish. I'd recommend coming here with enough time to take a walk downtown after dinner. It is a beautiful small town to explore.”

“I was 1/2 way through a 7000 mile trip in my 1989 vanagon Westfalia with a 2.5l Subaru engine. I arrived at Sugar Point State Park in Lake Tahoe and found it difficult to shift into 1st and 2nd gear. With a poor internet connection at the park I googled vanagon repairs. I found shops in San Diego, L.A , and Washington State. I figured the rest of my trip was hosed! I drove out of the park searching for better internet and parked downtown to run another internet search. To my great surprise I found OutWesty in Lake Tahoe. It was after 5pm and the shop was closed but I left a voice message explaining my problem Around 7pm Dave calls me and tells me he was checking his messages and called to find out the problem. Dave said he was busy but if I could bring the van by the next morning he'd take a look. Dave then asked... are you okay?... are you safe? What an amazing thing to ask! I replied... I'm good. The next morning Dave checked my clutch linkage... all good. He checked the clutch master cylinder... no leak. Dave then took a small cup with a hose attached and bleed the clutch master cylinder... pumped up the clutch and told me to take the van for a drive. The van drove like it was brand new. Dave remarked the problem was the clutch master cylinder. I went around the corner for coffee and a donut. An hour later Dave called and said the van was ready! I asked... do you think I can still make it to Yosemite? Dave said... sure! My trip was back on! Dave asked.... How did you find my shop to call. I replied.... Divine Intervention!!!
