“A great local park with two different sized playgrounds, a full basketball court, a half court, a sand volleyball court, and a nice walking path with hills. There are bathrooms and they aren't super terrible for a public park. I just wish they had lights for the basketball court because it's the closest full court within two miles.”

“I’ve been camping here for 15 years. I love it. Camping in October is the best. Some kids on their electric bikes go way too fast tho. That is the only downside.”

“Vail Lake is an awesome place for resort, trailers, and tents. Plenty of space on each lot. We have a 40 foot diesel and there was room for a 12×10 canopy and our 12x10 screen house. They have picnic tables and a fire pit. There are 3 swimming pools, tennis area, a space to release your dogs (we have 6 rescues), a bar that serve great margaritas, a store and on Friday and Saturday night a band. They also rent golf carts. The people who camp there are pretty nice. Forgot to mention they do rent cabins. They look nice on the outside. Not sure what they look like on the inside. Overall our favorite Koa to camp.”

“I thought this was going to be a lousy little park but it turned out to be a really, REALLY cute pond with a bunch of different types of ducks! I didn’t expect for there to be that many! The walkway was surprisingly clean for how many critters roam that small area and the memorials along the way were beautifully done. It was a highlight of my trip to the region.”

“So far the best RV Park/Resort we’ve been to. Beautiful grounds. Clean restrooms/showers. Sites are HUGE. There’s a well stocked 24 hr mini mart at the gas station. The resort functions like an independent city, it has its own resources. Never had a noise issue as DPS patrols there. There’s an overflow parking lot unrelated to the resort. We overnighted there one time when it was full. In the A.M. security came by and we simply told them we had reservations that day which check in time was 2 p.m. and there was no problem. The front desk girls were very helpful with future reservations. Didn’t bother with the casino however though they have very frequent shuttles running there. Will be back for sure.”

“We had an amazing time at the campground. The camper arrived before we did and it was all set up for us. It was a real cool bunk camper and our kids had a great time in it. I highly recommend this camper. Thanks”

“It is winter right now so I didn't get to see all the beautiful colors of the roses but it was a nice walk nevertheless. I saw one porta potty. Not sure if it's for workers or spectators. Nice place to take pictures and relax. Not a very big parking lot. The gentleman that was taking care of the garden was really nice and informed me that they grow vegetables too. The workers here are volunteers so the only money they get is if you make a donation to maintain the garden.”

“Super cool trail and well marked. We did about 6.4 miles and it took 2 hours to complete. The blooms right now are amazing. According to the map it loops around. Not sure though. According to some other hikers once you get higher up the path it isn’t so well maintained. Maybe next time. And don’t forget your adventure pass or $5.00 cash. Luckily we met some really cool people in the parking lot that let us borrow cash. We repaid him via Venmo 😉”

“Great family time. Food truck, drinks, and snacks for sale. $10 and $14 admission $3 skate rental. It's nicely decorated for Christmas. Kids had lots of fun skating while I enjoyed the hot chocolate. They have hand sanitizer and restrooms. They take COVID precautions seriously. Enough tables for family to hang and seats. Even heated lamps. Sessions are an hour and half. Staff is really nice.”

“This nice quiet hiking trail is hard to find but worth the effort. The entrance is located East of Butterfield Stage Road and the first stop light south of Temecula Parkway is Channel Street, travel East about 1/4 mile to the entrance on the left (between two houses) down a short driveway to a small parking lot. The trail goes about 3/4 mile with the parking lot in the middle. Along the trail you will find exercise stations, benches and tables. The trail follows along a grass and tree lined path. At the parking lot there is a small playground and a drinking fountain with a dog spigot.”

“Great playground for kids of various ages. Our grandsons loved the playground and had a chance to try out their scooters on the paved trail. The playground has a "Zip Line" type swing that the kids totally loved. (see video) Very clean and well maintained. Also picnic tables in a semi shaded area overlooking the playground that is popular for birthday parties. Parking is available nearby.”

“Great park! Kind of secluded which gives it a private feeling. There are 2 basketball half-courts. 2 play structures for little and bigger kids. There is also a large gated grassy area that is perfect for letting does run around off leash. There are bathrooms with water and drinking fountains. Nice shade trees as well. Only about a dozen parking spots but there is street parking also.”
