“Celebration Park is conveniently located on the corner of Merrill and Celebration in the City of Eastvale. I LOVE how there are THREE spacious playground areas for little ones and for older kids. The park is clean and has a mesh cover so the playing area are not overly hot during the summer. There are plenty of logs and benches for sitting, and several picnic benches for family bbq and gathering. This park not only has an open playground layout on one designated area, but 2/3rds the park has a green lush field for baseball, soccer, kiting, kickball and any other outdoor activity to your liking. One downside that I could see is that the playgrounds use fine wood chips. Just be careful with little ones coming here in open toe footwear. I would highly recommend taking your little ones here.”

“Cramer Family Park is a green space park owned and operated by The Town of Apple Valley. Formerly known as the Mountain Vista Park, it has been renamed to Cramer Family Park in honor of the late Margaret “Maggie” Cramer. Maggie and her late husband, Walter, were actively involved in the High Desert community since 1979. They were the co-chairmen to raise the capital funds to build the "Cooper Home." She was a member of Soroptimist International of Victor Valley and the Assistance League of Victor Valley. They also established the Cramer Family Foundation, Inc. which helped promote A.S.A.P. (After School Activities Program) in Hesperia and Apple Valley. The Cramers provided years of service to the community particularly with the local youth and also donated the land for the park.”

“Nice secluded campsite, very scenic and plenty of room for the whole family or group to spread out. The road up is rough, so you should probably be driving an SUV or truck to get here. Four Stars instead of Five because the toilet on site was overdue to be pumped out, so it was quite "ripe". Bummed that no campfires or charcoal were allowed (late July) but I understand. Also, three large bear boxes were provided, so evidently somebody was listening to Mr. Chen's review”

“A nice, new little park. You can walk around the perimeter, there's a playground area and 2 gazebos. Also bathrooms. The only drawback is there's not much shade because most of the trees are young and small.”

“A quick and short trail to the waterfalls, from the parking lot hang a left at the sign and follow the creek bed and you can’t miss the falls. There’s a small railing up a bit on the side of the hill where you can view the falls but from a distance. You can climb around the rocks to get a better view but climb at your own risk.”

“My granddaughter takes skateboard lessons at this skate park in Montclair, little known fact. The park is designed by SBHOF Steve Alba, a Montclair native. Micke Alba, 2x SBHOF inductee gives lessons every Saturday morning. Show up and hit him up. Show up on Saturday mornings around 9 am and enjoy a group of OG SKATERS who come to Montclair skate park from all over SoCal”

“A very nice park, very clean. Probably a good place for a picnic. Decent but not the best view of the lake. Parking was easy. There were bathrooms here. There was a nice wooden bear statue to take a picture with. There was a path leading down to the lake so you had access to the water.”

“This spot a few miles up the dirt road from Heart Bar is a beautiful place to spend the weekend. It's not the cheapest campground (especially with so many free Yellow Post sites on the way there), but it is the best spot for a breathtaking view, a lot of space, and a toilet (although with the number of flies in the outhouse I would almost prefer squatting in nature). It's situated atop the Coon Creek Jumpoff with a spectacular view of the Coachella Valley, and the Pacific Crest Trail passes right by -- these are good things, but they do make for quite a few strangers passing through or parking at camp each day, which is a minor annoyance. Overall, it's an excellent choice for camping with a group out in the SB National Forest.”

“Mile High Pines was so great! The campground was beautiful. They had multiple activities such as rock climbing, zip lining, a pool to swim in, a set up to play 9 square (which is so fun btw). Meals served were delicious, especially for going to camp. Lunch and dinner were my favorites. I will say, take cushioned blankets or a nice thick sleeping bag because the bunk cots are really thin mattresses. That would be my only suggestion if you are concerned about comfort. For kids and younger adults they probably won't be an issue, but I'm a mom, and 29 years old. Even though that's not old, my back was still really hurting in that bunk lol I had a great time though. It's perfect for being in nature, while still having comforts of home. Would definitely recommend 👌”

“Andreson park is really cute. One side of it has swings, basketball court, jungle gym type thingy and picnic area, very clean bathroom and the back features a doggy park. Instead of sand they have little pieces of wood for the kids to run on. It’s a great place to have a summer picnic. There arent too many people there at any given time. I actually prefer these little parks to the big ones with all the people barbecue.”
