“This place is awesome if you have a good vehicle to drive-in and it is worth seeing. You can also pack a lunch and enjoy the nice view and weather, mind you it does get a bit dusty but it is beautiful and nice to see and read about the historical sites.”

“Greetings from Northern Virginia! Hadn't been to this park in many years, on a previous family visit when my kids were young enough to want to go to the playground every day. Super nice little neighborhood park with sandy playground, lots of swings, a covered picnic area, and a curvy, paved, partially shady walking path with exercise stations. There's ample parking including handicapped spaces, and even an ice cream man who stops by the entrance. Lots of people and pups socializing and exercising and relaxing. They all seemed happy to be there. Great old trees (a neighbor walking the path told us one is 100 years old!) Also a geocache ;) Suggest adding a few additional benches along the trail for folks who need to sit every once in a while and also small signs identifying the more significant, interesting trees.”

“Can be a bit crowded, but near a stream and a lot of great hiking trails, College Camp, San gorgonio wilderness, down the Santa Ana river and to seven oaks also. About 40 minutes from big bear lake.”

“This review is mainly for the playground. It’s a cute little play structure with wood chips on the ground. It has no shade but the surrounding trees can provide some and there’s plenty to explore all around. There is no parking lot but there is a curb away from houses where you can park. Playground is close to the street (see photo) as one reviewer mentioned, with no barrier or fence to keep kids from running into it.”

“Absolutely love this park. The playground is fairly big. Only down side is that it has limited parking but you can park in the North side of the park. Some parents do not like the sand so just be aware.”

“An excellent place to visit if you're a birder. A quiet urban/rural community and elevation 3000 ft, plenty of wildlife.”

“For the size of this park, it has a lot to offer. The design is very simple yet modern, and the amenities it offers is a lot. It has many seats and resting areas as well as a mini auditorium. The playground is also very nice and barely worn. It also has an area for BBQ which is very clean and unused. Overall, I am shocked this public park isn’t used more often.”

“The first time we visited was for a fall festival last October. It was hosted by a local church and they brought in a train ride, games, petting zoo, food, drinks and more for free. It was a great little event and the fire department brought an engine out and let kids get in for pictures as well. Hope they do it again this year! It was a lot of fun! The playground is very well made with lots to do and very clean. The bathrooms are also pretty clean as well. Will return many times in the future!”

“What a lovely walk on a perfect May evening. My husband and I have have started to get out and really explore the walking paths and nature preserves that surround our home. The trail around Fish Lake was perfect, beautiful and an easy stroll. It's a little over 3 miles if you walk the entire thing. They have benches along the way where you can sit to enjoy the scenery as well. I would highly recommend this path. You might even get lucky on your way in and get to see the Bison herd that roams the 200+ acres near Cedar Creek. Fabulous!”
