“Only the second time Ive been to one of these. Damn they are good for fast food. Only three burgers to choose from, add "Animal Style" to them. Very good indeed, not sure they are better than Five Guys, but definitely worth a visit. Fries are very good too, but perhaps a bit on the salty side. You can also get your fries animal style too, which we did. Oh! And it is a great value, less than $20 for two people.”

“This place is great, I have nothing but positive things to say. Usually when we all go to chain restaurants your experience is nothing but conventional. You receive your run-of-the-mill food. The service is your standard friendly. You eat and you go home. I must say that with this restaurant it's not just your prototypical L&L. Why? You might ask. Well let me break it down for you. 1. The Food: It's fresh! I can taste the high quality of all the ingredients that they used. Believe me, I love eating out so I know the difference. On each bite I can tell that they really make sure that they cooked and prepared it appropriately. 2. The Service: As long as they meet the standard, that's an okay restaurant in my book. Well guess what? This place exceeded my standard of great service. You can feel the positivity as soon as you walk in that door. Which takes me to the last part of this review.. 3. The Atmosphere: I can sense the feeling of calmness in this place. The location is quite accessible as well as the parking. I feel that I'm really in Hawaii. And I have to add this... The place is just squeaky clean! It just makes you feel at ease. Despite their busy schedule, we had a chance to talk to the owners of this particular L&L Branch and they are very professional and quite lovely. Thank you for the amazing food! “Iconic Taco shop in Oceanside tourist beach area. This place has incredible edgy art plastered all over this building’s insides. Statues, paint splashes, graffiti style writing, and colorful booth seats. It’s an eyesore and an artistically stimulating environment in which to dine. The food is above average Mexican food. The tacos are pretty good, the roja salsa is some of the best in the world, and the chips are crisp (maybe too crisp, definitely too thick and oily). The cost is likely steep due to the real estate. Prices don’t seem too high until they nickel and dime you for every squirt of sour cream and smudge of guacamole. It adds up quickly. Purchased 4 tacos, 4 Juaritos, 1 nachos, one bean and cheese burrito and one side of chips and salsa- $70. Seems a bit steep. But it’s tasty and no one went hungry, even though the portions seem a bit small for the cost. As I said, this is iconic. You won’t be disappointed in your experience, though you’ll likely pay a bit more than expected.”

“This is a dope little hangout spot. Despite the size of the place it can hold large parties. They have a large seating area with bench style seating. The food here is very good some of these reviews are tripping. The pizza looks delicious, and the burgers are dank! I started off with the sampler platter to get a mix of everything, and it didn't disappoint. The wings were huge, with a nice spicy BBQ flavor on it. I tried the jalapeño bacon cheese burger and it was definitely worth coming back for. The most expensive meal is 18 bucks, everything is very affordable and not a tourist trap. Adam our bartender gave outstanding service, and recommended some good beer to try. The draft beer selection is huge, it looked like they had over 50 on the line! (Not sure of exact amount tho) and it was clean and cold beer. The arcades are kid friendly and they even have a little bowling alley with mini bowling balls! All and all this is a great place to have a fun date, watch sports, or enjoy great affordable food! Easy 5 stars with great service! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”

“Didn't get to taste the food because they shut down their kitchen right smack at the beginning of karaoke. We drove a long way and we were hungry. We ended up ordering a couple of drinks and singing one karaoke song and having to leave because the rotation was so ridiculously long and there was no food. KJ was great though! Would return just for her. A suggestion, if you're going to have a crowdful people drinking in your establishment it's a great idea to have food besides the fact that you'll make more money you'll have much happier customers.”

“While on vacation with family, we decided to visit Oceanside. To be honest, I’ll only go back strictly for this restaurant. Over waiter and food were awesome. Our waiter was able to answer all of our questions. He definitely was not lying when he said all the food was amazing. From our different meals, not one was lacking anything. Extremely flavorful, food came out quickly, plentiful, and customer service was superb. Next time I’m in San Diego, I will definitely be coming back.”

“Outstanding food and atmosphere. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The menu definitely offers an eclectic range of choices, but none will disappoint. I had the wine braised beef cheeks and it was glorious. My family all ordered something different so I had an opportunity to sample half the menu, we all ordered different dishes, and every one was delicious. The appetizers are killer too. And the drinks were perfect; excellent bartenders. I can't wait to go back next time I'm in the area.”

It was so damn good, forgot to take the pic! UPDATE** Took my boyfriend here and we shared the Cali burrito. We asked for it cut in half and they even separated then in different wrappers! Never seen that before, so sweet of them! He loved it!! Now I got them pics! All this plus a large sprite for 20 bucks! Can’t beat that! Thanks to the guy at the drive through again, he rocks!!!”

“Loved visiting this place, it had a welcoming vibe to it. There’s a variety of drinks and games available to play. Bartender was friendly. My partner and I did two flights of beer and we also played a couple of card games. The owner must be really creative. There is a huge Lite Brite and other cool things. “This is quite the place! My brother proclaimed it as the best pizza in town. He was pretty much on the button with this one. Everything is fresh and whatever they do to the sauce, i really need to know what it is. They have a nice selection of local beer and the place is great for families. “Everything about this place is close to perfect. To start with you have complementary underground parking. The professionalism when you are greeted is top notch. They're very efficient and organized. The view is incredible. It looks out over the ocean and you also have a view of the Oceanside pier. The food has always been awesome. They always have great specials. And I was there on a Wednesday with half price bottles of wine. The service from our Server was very attentive knowledgeable and had a great attitude. “We spent a week staying at a place on the Oceanside strand and loved it. We decided to try out the food at the Tin Fish. We loved this fun place under the pier. Great sunny seating and very clean. We went back twice to have their wonderful New England Clam Chowder in Bread Bowl. We also enjoyed a Salmon taco. Their chips are great too.”
