My go to favorite tends to switch between the sunrise special (two eggs any style served with country potatoes or fruit or sliced tomatoes, toast, plus add on bacon) and morning breakfast (two eggs any style, bacon or chicken apple sausage or ham & slice of french toast, served with country style potatoes). With an iced tea and mimosa to drink, they have flavors (orange, pineapple, cranberry and grapefruit). Check them out sometime, they have indoor and outdoor seating. With the out door even including nice umbrellas to keep the sun off you during the hotter weather.”

“I am originally from New Jersey, and it is so hard to find an Italian Market in Orange and Los Angeles Counties. I was doing research on new restaurants, bakeries, and markets to try, and I came upon Cortina’s Italian Market. I happened to be in Anaheim, so I stopped there. The Good: They have a great selection of Italian canned goods, homemade sauces, deli options, baked goods (pastries and cookies), and bread. It reminded me of an Italian market I used to go to when I was younger. The cookies and cannolis had great flavor and they were fresh. The prices were reasonable for what I got. The Bad: Their parking lot is too small. I was lucky and found a parking space. I went on a weekday, but I can imagine how jammed it gets on the weekend. I rate all restaurants, bakeries, and markets by whether they are worth driving to in the future. I definitely think Cortina’s is worth a repeat visit, and I look forward to trying some more things the next time I am there.”

“Stopped into this hidden treasure in Normal Heights to buy a birthday gift and boy did I fall in LOVE with EVERYTHING. The shop has a cute aray of colors and Lee whom I assume is the owner was so AMAZING!! She explained the desserts, the ingredients, and offered us a sample. Her personality and spirit were definitely what you expect, especially since when you look at the art work on the walls and the vibe of the store. She was PERFECT!! She engaged with my 8yr old who acts 60yrs old talking about unicorns. Lee was nice enough to place the items I purchased which were the Cacao Now, Mustang Bar, Key Lime Mini Hug Cake, Triple Berry Mini Hug Cake, in a custom bag and She tied a bow on the top. Since it was a birthday gift it was PERFECT. Upon leaving the store Lee gave us the punch card for when we return. My sister in law who's vegetarian ABSOULUTLEY LOVED her desserts and said she will be checking it out in the future. Thanks Lee for your recommendations and for being an overall SWEETHEART..People miss the concept of being human and nice. If your looking for AMAZING vegan, gluten free, desserts THIS IS THE PLACE.
