“PHENOMENAL food. We've had a lot here over the time they've been open - pastries as well as meals. Spanish tapas night was so so so mouth watering - just as good as restaurants in Spain. I'm not sure why dinner is only available on Thursday and Friday...?! How about weekends? We came once on a Saturday evening for dinner, not knowing there wasn't food available. We brought our baby and had to scramble a bit to order from a different place to have dinner to take home for him. I do wish the wine selection were better and that the employees were knowledgeable about their wines. One employee didn't even know how to open a bottle of wine. I get that you're training people - that's great! Include your beverage selection in their training. This place could be GREAT! More umbrellas / plants to make the patio very inviting (beyond the little boundaries with the 3-4 tables), maybe music? We'd love to be here much more often - with baby and friends in tow - if we can work out the food and drink hours and selection.”

“Ventured out to Balboa for a quick honeymoon. This was the first breakfast/bakery place we happened upon and thank goodness for that! The cheddar, chive, and bacon scone with an egg on top was delicious! Highly recommend! And their cinnamon rolls are perfect for a shared sweet treat! The only sad part was that everything was so good, no photo evidence could be obtained in time to share. 😁 Maybe next time!”

“Obviously, this place is a local favorite. I always get their cookies, which are really soft and buttery, as well as big as my head. The conchas are really cloudy and soft, with a nice crispy sugar topping. The The jalapeno bolillos are amazing- they have ham, cream cheese, jalapeno, and sometimes pineapple in them. They make a good breakfast and are probably my favorite thing there!”

“I stumbled upon this on one of my early morning drives in Marin. Had the poppyseed donut which was heavenly. I would post a picture but I ate it. The long line is indicative of what a neighborhood favorite this place is. Only drawback, it’s cash only! Will be driving down again this weekend, the $1.70 donut is worth the $5 toll 😂”

Once we got home and added our ingredients to the broth it was great. Good flavor, was still nice n 🔥, I like more on the spicy side so I added chili sauce provided and some spriracha sauce. This was spicy enough to clear out my sinuses. The Boba Tea was on point drank 1/4 of it had to save the rest for later. Will be returning to try out some of the other food items. I'll give it a 7/10. Just because of the pricing it's a little high but not to bad.”
