“My friends and I stopped by this Starbucks in City Walk since we saw on Yelp and Google that they close at 2am. Other Starbucks closes at 8pm or 9pm so we decided to come to City Walk since my friend wanted his coffee. If you're a AMC Stub member then you should use your free ticket to take advantage of not paying full price for parking. This Starbucks location is on the 2nd floor now instead of the 1st floor in its old location. This Starbucks store isn't big, I think it's meant for just people to get their drink and relax outside in their outdoor seating area or to walk around City Walk. My friend got his black coffee and my other friend got the Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso. They enjoyed their drink but it did take a while to come out when they weren't that busy. When we left the store at 10pm, they started closing their door and said they were closed so we were surprise since we thought they close at 2pm.”

“Fast cat coffee is a new local gem that I have recently found. It’s right by the California family fitness on fair Oaks Boulevard near Manzanita and fair Oaks. Unlike anything else in town, the racing car and motorcycle vibe that has that rugged local fair Oaks feel. A place to fill up your engine before heading out on your day to hit it fast and hard. The coffee was smooth and did not taste burned. That tells me that it’s fresh. The pastries were fresh incredibly delicious. The service was friendly, informative, and swift. This place is definitely going to take my money over Starbucks going forward. I recommend this local Fair Oaks business as a must visit for local and out of town coffee goers looking for a new coffee spot.”

“Finally, a nice bakery in the valley! The cashier need to speed up a little--I guess, she's new like almost everyone at this new place--but other than that, the bread is delicious. I love the chocolate bread filled with cream cheese. Milk bread was nice. The broiche is soft and chewy on the inside, and the top is just hard enough and sweet. The best drink here is the sea salt coffee cold, it's very different from the usual stuff down the ways. I think the prices are reasonable for what you get. Boba is okay, not the best, but good enough. Anyways, I'm glad 85 degrees is finally here in the valley, and can't wait for the Century City one to open soon.”

“On a Saturday I decided to take a drive and had a taste for a sweet drink on a hot day and came across bober tea. My first thought was wow It looks cool inside with all the pink decorations, so I ordered the supreme strawberry green tea. The taste was good, nice and sweet. The only downside is they don't take cash. You have to order on the touchscreen machine and It has the full menu there. Bober tea sells mochi donuts and lattes as well. The prices are between 6$-$7 for the drinks. Friendly staff and pretty clean inside, I will have to try the donuts next time.”

From the friendly greeting upon entry, to the pleasant order-taking experience, to the nice and prompt conversations, to the cleanly store appearance. My tea was handed to me with a smile and a thank you (which has become increasingly rare in much of the service industry). It was delicious and refreshing, and exactly as I ordered.
