“Really good spot and friendly staff. You can tell they take some pride in there food. My wife and I got a ham and egg and cheese croissant and the Avocado toast. They cooked everything separately than combined the sandwich, which is awesome! Most places don’t do this. I hate when you get a croissant sandwich and the croissant is smashed or all the juice from the meat have soaked the bread or the croissant is burnt because they try and cook everything at once. So good on you guys for doing it the right way. The Avocado toast was great as well and they use a fresh avocado every time which is nice to see. Not pre made and sitting in a bin forever. I would recommend this place and I’ll be coming back.”

“This Starbucks location is somewhat hidden in the back of the shopping center and even though I knew where it’s located, I still drove around a few times to figure out where it is. The good news is the parking is easy and the store is updated and there are plenty of places to sit inside. With the number of people there using computers, it’s obvious this location is perfect for getting some work done. Unfortunately, I live too far away to do work here but that’s just me. I like shopping centers where things are not angular and overly laid out. Give this Starbucks a try if you can find it.”

“Looking for a good breakfast place while visiting Downey Ca, I may have found one. This popular local spot uses fresh ingredients to create their dishes. The food is good, portions are generous and all are priced accordingly. The French Toast was very flavorful and the bread was cooked perfectly, unlike other establishments where the bread tends to be a bit firmer (hard) which, negatively impacts the overall taste of the dish. The Steak and Eggs were good but the steak did lack seasoning and flavor and tasted a bit bland. The inside dining area is spacious, clean and can accommodate large groups. Outdoor seating is available should you desire. The painted wall decor is colorful creating a soothing relaxed atmosphere. The operational efficiency on how customers are greeted, seated and served is very much customer service friendly. You’re initially met by a greeter who directs you to a QR code where you’re able to view the menu and order. You’re then directed to a cashier where you pay for the meal (In advance, tip optional) and are then seated. Within 8 short minutes your food arrives table side. This process does have one distinct advantage, which, is your food arrives much quicker than most. The draw back, it’s already paid for if you’re dissatisfied. The servers were friendly and very attentive. I would suggest you arrive early since, it can get very busy. With that, other than the steak missing the mark, overall, I believe you’ll enjoy your dining experience here and would recommend this breakfast spot.”

We usually get bahn mi at a chain that's mostly in Orange county (Lee's if you're curious), but it's a long drive so we only go there if we're in the area as the locations that are closer to us in the IE are not as good. I am so excited that we found somewhere just as good, if not better, that's so close to home!! The pictures are the express special (may be off on the name, buts it's the #1 sandwich on the menu). It's the one with pate, so not everyone's favorite, but if you like it this sandwich is phenomenal!! Perfect amount of toppings, everything is super fresh, and the bread is perfection! Plus, Jackie, the owner, is so darn nice! We will be back many times and I am so excited we decided to Google this restaurant and saw how much everyone loves it!”

“How. How have I only just discovered Golden State Coffee? Located in Old Town Placentia it has alllll the cool vibes with brick and wood and arches and soooo much space inside and out! They have been roasting coffee for more than 10 years so they know their stuff. My matcha was yum and they have an exceptional menu with vegan and gf options. The aesthetic is a 10/10, street parking is easy unless it's a busy time. The service is friendly and helpful. Plenty of merch and just an overall great experience. Good to study and work. But also great for catchups with friends. It's movie to the top of my favorite list!”

Arrived just before 12:30 to about ten people already in line and they had already run out of their chicken sandwich special but I wanted the falafel bowl anyway which was fresh and delicious. I added the avocado salsa which I wish was thicker but the taste was great. The outside patio area is great for kids and dogs if you don't mind the occasional sound from the jets which you could still talk over if you spoke loud enough, so it gets a ding for atmosphere because seating inside was hard to get as well, but if you're getting food to go then it's a good option. Plenty of airport parking!”

“This was my first time going to this local cafe. I had not been able to go there before because they are only open until 2:00 p.m. on most days and closed on Sundays. I decided to give them a try and to support our local businesses. I ordered the hot pastrami sandwich. It was tasty and fresh, but on the smaller side. However when I finished it I was no longer hungry. You get a side of chips of your choice with any sandwich that you order. The sandwich itself was $9 which I think is very reasonable. I also noticed that they had some large cookies. I bought some chocolate chip cookies but they also had oatmeal raisin and sugar. Wasn't sure what to expect, but I was very happily surprised at how soft, fresh, and delicious they were. And they are only $2.50 each! Definitely support this local business. They also serve salads, you can build your own sandwiches, and specialty coffees.”
