If they had a little better signage then they would probably have more visitors to this small but interesting little museum. Centered around the printing press and the old weekly newspaper, there are plenty of photos and local history to absorb and enjoy.”

“This beautiful, well designed modern art museum is on the Davis campus. The opening reception of the new show was fun. There was a large area set up outside for kids to make things and explore their creativity. Food, desserts, and drinks, in the form of flavored water, was available. A musician provided entertainment. And the art exhibits were extensive and informational. It's always enlightening to see a show here because it's something you don't see anywhere else.”

“I was looking for some storage and possibly make a move too. I met a wonderful customer agent there called Tyler who explained everything to me. We looked at a U-Haul Box which was what I had considered. After making a reservation for 1, I returned a few days later to change it to a storage unit instead. No problem, he said. We checked out a few storage units and I again reserved a unit but didn't want to commit because it was further than where I wanted it. Later that day, I found another storage unit closer to my home and called in to Tyler to cancel my reservation. Again, no problem! I was really impressed with the customer service, especially by Tyler, and I will return to this U-Haul site again for my next move!”

“On a recruiting trip to UCLA, I realized I had a little time for myself, so I went to The Getty to see Vincent van Gogh’s “Irises” painting. After seeing some pf his other paintings, I really wanted to see this one. Its size surprised me though. It was so small, but The Getty had it displayed so we could get close enough to really see it and yet it was protected too.”

“I love this FREE art museum! The architecture, garden, and grounds are beautiful, and that is just the beginning. Once you enter the museum, the amount of spectacular paintings, sculptures, and other art pieces is just amazing! I went here for a birthday trip with friends, and it was perfect. “This is the perfect place for sunset viewing. There's a mile or so sidewalk with public seating or you can choose to wait on the low wall. Parking by meter, it's not overwhelmingly pack, however, summer should be. The beach have plenty of space to settle down and run around to play. If you plan to visit, Please be courteous and clean up after yourself and around yourself. Common courtesy apply, sorry I have to say it because I feel nowadays, some people just don't care to have common courtsey and respect for parks, beach and mother nature.”

Naturalized plants in free form from years of growth, show signs of tender care but not restrained. Remove shoes to enter the main building and receive blessings from the monk. If the opportunity arises, take part in sharing the food. The vegetarian meal satisfying and the root veggies are delicious. There are two on site parking areas best suited for compact cars. Plenty of street side parking across from the entrance.”
