I think her name is Melissa I believe she's new, she wasn't there a few months back. Anyways I had my kids with me (yes kids can be annoying at times and very difficult to make up their mind when it comes to eating) well she was very patient with them the whole time we were there. The cook didn't seem too happy he rolled his eyes a few times when we were ordering like if he didn't want to cook for us or something (It was the short guy, not the taller skiny guy) I had some tacos and they were very good, salsas and food didn't disappoint. “First time trying today and we'll definitely go back. The service was amazing, the people are so nice and friendly. We got the fried gyoza and chicken yaki tori appetizers. Both were yummy and the perfect size. Then we got three rolls to share which was even more delicious and extremely well priced. “This new Korean restaurant is nice and clean. The menu is big with many choices. We liked the complementary kimchi. Meet Jun, a Hawaiian-Korean dish is delicious. Spicy pork is tasty but on the sweet side. Stone pot is probably good if the default beef version is chosen. The tofu version is a bit disappointing. The pre-cooked tofu is completely burned black on one side and the portion is small. I will try veggie pancake next time to see if that’s a good vegetarian option.”

The wings... I wouldn't order again. They had a good flavor but we asked for crispy and just can't eat them non-crispy. Nobody in the family. So. yes they made a mistake but it doesn't mean the whole experience was ruined. The place is small, we love it! Feels cozy and lots of locals having a drink at the bar. Bri (host, phone attendant, bussing tables, bar tender and server) James (also helped alot around the restaurant) Charlie (cook) came to check and make sure our food was good and everything came out good. I expected the burrito to have exactly what was on the menu, but I was surprised by the fact that it had green bell pepper strips in it. The market area is nice, but the pan dulce here was extremely stale. Got a concha and galleta and they were both pretty hard.”

“Hands down the BEST teriyaki chicken you're gonna find in the Bay Area. The chicken is cooked well, the steak is medium, and the sauce has ruined most other teriyaki sauces for me. Most Japanese restaurants have teriyaki as the safe option, but at HoT, it's the star. ✨ In my recent visit, it seems they no longer offer the teriyaki pork option or steamed veggies. I am assuming this is due to supply/demand issues. Not the end of the world. I didn't take a photo of my latest order because I was HANGRY, so I've shared an older photo which is still pretty representative of the portions and how the steak looks. 🤤 I like to get the half and half with a side of egg roll. The portions are huge, so I usually get at least two meals out of one order! Their sauces come in regular, mild, and spicy. If you like sweet and savory sauces with a good kick of spicy, GET IT. It's not overpowering with just the right amount of heat. You can buy bottles of their sauces for about $5 a bottle, and it is 100/10 worth it. Orders take about 15 mins to prepare, so take a walk around or grab lumpia from Gabrielle's next door while you wait!”
