“We recently had lunch here. The place is huge, with multiple seating options. Indoors outdoors, in the back, in the front, seats with cushions and pillows. The food was really good. We asked the staff on recommends and they suggest taco and mussels. So we tried both and both were amazing. We loved the vibe of the place and the staff were sweet. The service was quick. I highly recommend the mussels, it was so simple and yummy!”

“Excellent cliff-side Pacifica Taqueria with a neighborhood vibe. No frills establishment with excellent food, quick service, and everything you'd expect from a Bay Area Taqueria. Excellent Mexican food all around. They have beer, plenty of tacos, Mexican dishes, Carne Asada, and other delicious items. We especially loved how the carne asada tacos and the Al Pastor was charred to perfection with the perfect blend of taste and carbon flavor from the grill. They have self serve free chips as well! (No hard liquor or cocktails though, fyi!). Also, they have plenty of indoor seating as well as patio outdoor seating in the back with plenty of room and fresh air. They have a restroom. This place is easy to miss but it's perfectly located right on the main byway heading to San Francisco or down to Pacifica. We chose to come here after doing some hiking in Pacifica (Mori Point). This was the perfect idea to hit the spot after a tough morning on the trails. One of the better Taquerias in the area, especially if you're hungry and don't want to travel far. Recommended for convenience, taste, quick service, and good Taqueria Quality food.”

This is will easily tie in first or second for the best pizza in Woodland. If you aren't opposed to trying a new spot then make this your next pizza date.There are some over-critical reviews from long ago that are not representative of what we experienced. The salad, wings and pizza were all good and none of our close family had a single complaint. The pricing was fair and the quality exceeded expectations. “Nice atmosphere. Got the red chilaquiles. The sauce didn't taste home made, and wasn't spicy at all. My husband said his wet burrito was alright. Meat was tender, but the salsa was not even close to mild. We like real Mexican spicy salsas but feel these salsas didn't come close. Customer service was good. Waitress checked on us throughout our visit to make sure we didn't need anything else.”

“I am a Bloomington local who has watched this place grow into the delicious restaurant it is today. I don't know if it was the same owner then as today, but you will love the authentic Mexican food and good-sized portions. My wife and I enjoy eating here almost once a week. My favorite is the butter and garlic tilapia and shrimp combo plate with rice and beans. The only thing I don't like is the limited parking but definitely worth it every time. Enjoy 😉”

“Great place for burrito or salad bowl. Their food are a bit pricey but delicious and tasty. They have a lot of meat and seafood options for your tacos or burritos or bowl and you can customize them too. This place gets pretty full during dinner time so expect a bit of wait. But don't worry people dine and go fast too. They only have 5 or 6 dining tables but you can always go to their bar/restaurant combo beside it so you can order a cerbeza or any alcohol along side with your tacos.”

“Amazing! We stopped at this place for breakfast on our way back from LA to Sacramento having only found it by googling “food near me” for convenience close to a freeway exit. So happy we did! We had no idea what to expect and with a car containing a vegetarian, a 7 year old and 2 meat eating adults, this was absolute perfection! Not only were there TONS of options for everyone, but every single thing each of us ordered was DELICIOUS! So fresh, flavorful, hot and full of yum! Unfortunately, I was way too excited and ate my food too fast before realizing I didn’t take a picture but I ordered the chilaquiles plate with red sauce and it was AMAZING! Only one person in my group was patient enough to take a pic of his classic breakfast, pictured here…but believe me everything was fantastic!! And to top it all off they provided the best customer service! Everyone there was super friendly, attentive, helpful and kind! I wish they were in Sacramento! An absolute win to find this place!”

“The Shade was a very beautiful and relaxing hotel. The service at the hotel was extremely friendly(aside for the restaurant "sea level", see my reviews statement for that restaurante! All in all the I would love to come back to this hotel in the future, maybe try out a different location. The best and my most favorite enjoyable moments was in the tub, that was located on our private balcony. The tub is outside people!!! Yeaaasssssss What a great set-up. See pictures I have provided. “I had a meeting in Carlsbad and on the way back I had to stop here. One to grab their many wonderful coffee beans and also a pumpkin seed muffin and a cappuccino. Their croissants are my mom’s favorite in town. The location is so precious. Kinda hidden but with a beautiful ocean view from the top of the hill. I mean, what else can I ask for? Coffee + View! You can also bring your computer and work from one of their many outdoor tables.”
