“To start off me and my family are so thankful for the quick response, attentiveness and respect this funeral home had at the time of my mothers funeral service. I was in Texas and dealing with the funeral home preparing her when we were worried about flying her back to L.A but let me tell you they coordinated everything with them promptly. To say simply thank you is not enough but I would like to acknowledge how professional, reliable and punctual they were when they had to pick up my mother’s body. It was already hard to let my mom go but more importantly to make things happen how she wanted after her passing. “I do not have loved ones buried here, but wanted to explore this cemetery as it was established in 1862. It's appeared well maintained and I did not notice any litter or trash strewn about as other reviews state. There are very large old trees and many benches in honor of those deceased located throughout so that you can rest and reflect. The older part of the cemetery with headstones dating back to the mid 1800s is located to the left as you enter. That part of the cemetery is well worth walking through and exploring the old family plots and veterans who lay there. The other part of the cemetery, which is newer is also quite lovely. What we immediately noticed was how colorful and personal the cemetery was. Yes, many of the headstones are decorated in colorful artificial flowers, but I found it quite beautiful as I turned the corner and saw all this lovely color amongst all the headstones. This is part of the culture of the families that visit. It appeared to be primarily families of Eastern European descent. There were quite a few people visiting and cleaning gravesites of loved ones. It was nice to see quite a few people visiting. This is not a large cemetery as it was established well over 100 years ago. I enjoy exploring cemeteries and find them to be peaceful places.”

“Authentic Italian Bakery! How did I miss this place?! So unassuming, hole in the wall bakery tucked in the corner of a shopping plaza. The pictures speak for themselves. Delicious and authentic. Don't come here expecting American style pastries or sandwiches. It's amazing and the quality is there! I've been to Italy, husband is from France so his expectations are always high when it's an European bakery. He loved the Italian sandwich and Italian ham especially. As for the prices, it's on par with the quality, did I hear imported Italian flour?! Yes. Italian family owned bakery where you hear them speaking Italian? Yes. Cute Italian mom and dad hanging out in the bakery? Yes. You can't get more authentic than that. My new favorite local bakery.”
