Address: 5648 SE Hwy 42, Summerfield, FL 34491, USA

“We had them do a tree removal in the past, they did a great job. We had them come again and do several things, take down a big tree close to our home, extensive trim on some very large bushes around our birdcage and trim a large front tree in our yard. I highly recommend them, Bobby does the estimates, and John and his crew do a excellent job. They are professional and did a great clean up afterwards. The best crew to call!”

Letty Towles Dog Park

Address: 2299 SE 32nd Ave, Ocala, FL 34470, USA

“HUGE pup park. Have lots of self filling water stations and poop bags everywhere. We’ve met a lot of great people there and it’s always great. They have two sides for small and large dogs. The one gate to get into the large dog area was a bit busted but you could still open it as long as your lift up while swinging it open and close.”

Indian Lake State Forest

Address: 6675 NE 40th Avenue Rd, Silver Springs, FL 34488, USA

Park

“What a great rural spot that's just outside of Ocala! It's a no frills camping, hiking and picnic location on a small sink hole lake that's surrounded by gradually sloping sandy terrain interspersed with cypress, oak and pine trees. The facilities are being upgraded and the park itself is well maintained. A large picnic pavilion under shady oaks would be a perfect spot for larger gatherings.”

Shanty Pond Campground

Address: FR 33, Fort McCoy, FL 32134, USA

Campground Lodging Park

“We camped here because Sat Springs was crowded and very open. This is more like back country camping. There is a pit restroom that's not in good condition and rather broken hand pump water. However, we filled our buckets in the nearby gas station and camped fine. There were more than 20 sites but only 2 or 3 were taken. It was truly peaceful and secluded. I'm planning to go there again with larger group.”

Marjorie Harris Carr Cross Florida Greenway Park

Address: 8282 SE Hwy 314, Ocala, FL 34470, USA

“Wonderful park full of wide paved trails for walking, running or biking, dog friendly, child playground, nature trails for bird watching or cross state hiking with markers, encouraging signs and benches for resting. No water on trails so bring a water bottle and enjoy.”

Lake Shore Group Campground - Ocala National Forest

Address: 8340 N E 147th Avenue Rd, Silver Springs, FL 34488, USA

Campground Lodging Park

“Lake Shore never disappointing. This is one of the very few group sites in Florida that has swimming, accommodates pets, and you don't share the restroom with anyone else. Camp hosts are always friendly (and vary from year to year.) The site gets reserved fairly quickly so plan well in advance. The smoker/grill/bbq on site is well built and we've smoked a LOT of meat in this thing. There are also standard park grills around the site. Plenty of lantern posts and a very large camp fire ring rounds out the site. Windixie is around 15 minutes away with roughly half an hour to Silver Springs if you needed anything that the local dollar stores (2) can't provide.”

Coehadjoe Park

Address: 4225 NE 35th St, Ocala, FL 34479, USA

Park

“An amazing park for recreational activities and families. Coehadjoe has multiple basketball and tennis courts as well as a couple pavilions. It’s also a great place to have a leisurely stroll and enjoy the outdoors. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.”

Fft King Memorial

Address: 3800 E Fort King St, Ocala, FL 34470, USA

Park

“The birthplace of Ocala and Marion County. Headquarters of the U.S. Army during the Second Seminole war, 1835 - 1842. Location of the Indian Agency at that time. 2nd dragoons were stationed there at one point, as well as the 7th infantry. The Second Seminole war started here and with the Dade ambush. Osceola and his warriors attacked Indian Agent Wiley Thompson, killing him and Lt. Constantine Smith. After the war, became first courthouse and county seat. Now there is a visitors center, small, but soon to be replaced by a larger, more improved one. At present there are history displays including artifacts from on-site and nature trails, but a full size reproduction of the fort is set to be finished by the end of 2017. The park already has top notch staff and a full program schedule, but even better things are in the works. Stop by and take a stroll through history. If you look close, you might even see a Seminole watching from behind a tree on the trail...”

Transit station Funeral home Cemetery Park

“Our Grandmother bought a plot and said she wanted to be buried in this facility next to her mother. Since our grandmother passed in NJ, we were very nervous about the logistics to bring her home. Theresa was professional and helpful. She guided us through the process. After arriving at the facility, I was shocked to see how well maintained the facility was. Harpeth Hills Memorial garden is beautiful, and I now understand why my grandma wanted to be inured there. Thank you Theresa and the rest of the staff for helping us.”

Baseline Trailhead Park

“Baseline Trailhead has a beautiful family atmosphere! It reminded me of when we used to go and play on the playground as kids, just a nice play area for the kids, a picnic area for those who want to have a little get together and a beautiful nature walk that has a lot to offer both beginner adventures and eternal wanderers! I highly recommended a visit here if you want to reconnect with nature and just detox from all the stress daily life tends to bestow on us!”

Baseline Road Trailhead

Lake Lillian

Address: SE Robinson Rd, Belleview, FL 34420, USA

Park

“Beautiful park with ample parking. It has a partially paved walking/jogging trail all around the lake's perimeter. It's great for a stroll, picnic, or party at one of their pavilions. There is also a beautiful dock overlooking the lake located underneath a majestic tree. It's always a sight to see in winter with the festive lights strung around each tree and structure. Not for swimming or wildlife interaction, but a great park to relax and enjoy the beauty that Florida had to offer.”
