“Great place to kick back, I got a room through air B&B, the room was very expensive for the lack of square footage. Both elevators did work, the parking security gave me trouble even though we told them we had a room ans said they might have towed us. The view was great, the lack of railing was kinda sketchy. But you can not beat the location. The building felt tired and dated it could use some TLC.”

“Cheap, cheerful and near the airport! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic and bed comfortable. Old style window AC whose noise drowned out the nearby light rail construction. Some repairs to the cracked and chipped areas would be nice. This place could be so cool with the right paint. Price is right, especially compared to distant hotels. Free shuttle. On-site Chinese restaurant. Mini convenience store has the basics. Gardens are very pretty and well maintained. Pool looks welcoming. Nice comfortable stay for the night.”

“This spot is a beautiful hangout for locals. Sometimes you get the opportunity to watch the Tahitian and hula dancers practice and sometimes you see a dozen or so surfers hit perfect waves. It's always beautiful here.”

“I have visited both Kathy Ireland Resort locations on Oahu and both locations are amazing! The houses were beautifully kept and the service and professionalism of the staff was outstanding! Both houses were close enough to downtown for amazing night life but far enough away to enjoy a peaceful evening away from the crowd... we felt like we had our own piece of Hawaii! I can’t wait to visit more of her locations! Highly recommend!”

Moved to Honolulu from Oregon at that time as my father was to be a professor at the university of Hawaii. Upon arriving at the airport we were taken by our host to the Royal Hawaiian for dinner. What a memory - in such a plush restaurant we were served Mai Mai, French fries and peas.”

“I will almost always choose to stay in town vice on base if possible. I had to stay on base for my latest trip and was fortunate enough to stay at Lockwood Hall. Great room and great location. There are elevators in this historic bldg so be aware if you require such. There is not a breakfast of any kind included. Overall I was very happy and would ask for this location again if i had to stay at JBPHH.”

“Great experience! Although the sea was quite rough, the instructors made me stand and ride the waves. I booked a group lesson with James and Nika, they did a fantastic job. We were only 3 students, so we got a lot of rides for our money. The team was very friendly and explained everything in detail. I got great photos for additional 30$. The prices are really fair in comparison to other schools at Waikiki.”

“Stayed for a week. Perfect location. Staff was very friendly. Views are fantastic. Cheaper to stay because no resort fees (no pool, spa, gym, etc) Rooms were clean. Bathrooms are nice. All the shopping, most of the eating are with in walking distance. Secure building and underground parking garage. Thank you Castle Waikiki for making my honeymoon wonderful!”

“部屋のリフォームもかなり進んでいました。部屋の鍵がシリコン製のリストバンドになっているため，滞在中は腕にはめていれば紛失の心配が無いため素晴らし案だと思いました。以前にも増してスタッフは親切なので安心して泊まれるホテルだと思います。立地的にはワイキキビーチ間近だし，ショッピングセンター等もすぐ近くに有ります。１階にはコンビニもあるし，小さなお子さんが居ても安心出来る良いホテルです。ハワイ島のシェラトンに比べると若干部屋は小さめですが，ここを拠点にワイキキを楽しむには十分すぎる広さです。因みにウォシュレットも付いています。”

“優雅でエレガントな休日に癒しを。 プライベート感が抜群で賑やかさはそれほどありません。ルールで音楽はイヤホンでのみ可。 宿泊者のみのプールが1つで（身長175センチ）胸ぐらいから首まで徐々に深くなっているタイプで子供は安全ではありません。よって子供が少ないのかと思われます。1つだけ黄色のパラソルがありそれはリザーブされている事があります。ロイヤルスィートの方でしょうか？通常はリザーブなしの自由席になります。 席は奥にいるスタッフに声をかけます。希望の席をお願いして準備をしてもらえバスタオルを頂けます。ミネラルウォーターはフリーで貰えますし、時折お菓子やフルーツ、アイスなども配られます。勿論オーダーも可能です。また、日焼け止めオイルは入口やスタッフの所に置いてありますので自由に利用可能です。 beachはフリーの穴場ビーチです。ホテル側からは部屋のキーで出入りします。またトイレでもキーが必要になります。 ここのビーチはサンセットクルーズなどの出航場所にもなってましてハレクラニとシェラトンの宿泊者には非常に便利です。 朝日そして夕日を浴びながら、波音と潮風を感じるプールでの憩いの時間は何物にも代えられない至福の時間になるでしょう。”
