“Great place to stop overnight or stay a few days. Quiet, clean, great spots, friendly, and all the facilities you could ask for. The showers, laundry, and bathrooms were very clean, and looked almost new. We definitely appreciated the full hookups, and pull through spots for our large rig.”

“Awesome RV/Tent park. Electric, water, sewer, and Wi-Fi available. RV spots are pull through. We setup tent with power $10 a day, RVs are $15 a day. We were here in March, only had to fight the winds. Great place for families, play ground and river to explore. Very clean. Bathrooms are closed until April 1st. Small awesome town, only one convenience store on 160 so stop before you park.”

“I was looking for the closest location, as I was working at the local hospital for 3 days. Much to my surprise, this hotel was full of charm and history. I was greeted soon after my arrival by Veda. A warm smile and gracious lady who made sure all was well. Absolutely the best sleep away from home I have ever had. Full of history and charm, you will not be disappointed. “I stayed here on Oct 7, 2022, while traveling From South Texas to Iowa for work. I am an older female, traveling alone, so I really look around where I chose to stay. Working on the road, I stay in hotels/motels a lot. I will admit, when I pulled into the parking lot I was concerned. There were no cars in the parking lot and it looked nothing like the pictures online. There are two other hotels, right there, and I quickly looked them up online. Those reviews were less than favorable (noise, theft, etc) so I took a chance and went into this place. Yes, the lobby had a "smell". The owners are of Indian decent and it smelled like Indian food. They live there...so it smells like what they cook. The man that met me at the desk was VERY nice and I could hear his baby's giggles from the next room. I was extremely tired and he was very accommodating. Compared to the other two hotels (with bad reviews) with very crowded parking lots and sketchy people hanging out nearby, the price was spot on for a quick one night stay on my way to somewhere else. I paid for my room and drove around to my door. I like being able to park right in front of the room door and not having to trek in and out through a lobby. First thing I ALWAYS do is check for bed bugs, before I carry anything inside. Then I check the cleanliness of the toilet and shower. It was fine. It's an older motel so it's NOT a HILTON....but I don't want to pay HILTON prices to stay somewhere for 8 hours. So...I pick my battles. By Midnight, there were two other cars in the parking lot. I got inside and settled. I am a smoker so I go outside. I rolled the desk chair outside and felt completely safe sitting outside, mostly alone. Check in and out was a breeze. Nobody messed with my vehicle. I slept well. It was very inexpensive. I had one complaint but I left and said nothing. The room I was in had no hot water in the morning for my shower. I let it run for about 20 minutes, just in case. It was still lukewarm. I took a cold shower. I slept very well, so I needed that wake up call, anyway. Again, picking my battles. I leave Texas for Iowa again in the morning. I hope I can make it to this place for my first night stay. I WILL check the hot water this time, though, and I will state that when checking in, so the owner knows what my expectations are...cause it's more winter now and I'm too old for cold winter showers. There is a Casey's gas station (they have breakfast foods) across the road and a McDonald's next to that. It's an easy on and off the main highway and it's pretty flat if there is inclement weather. I had a good experience at this Motel. I hope you do, as well. I will leave another review if my next stay is any different.”

“Overall this is a nice getaway for medium parties of about 50 people. It comfortably sleeps 14 with plenty of floor space for additional overnighters. With a quaint view of a large pond through a glass wall/doors this place will make you feel far away from the crowds. Minor pest issues and deck construction are the only reason I did not award 5-stars... Do expect a decent price on renting it though.”

“Very charming Bed & Breakfast that showcases lots of history. It is the perfect place for a quiet getaway. The owners were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. They have a hot tub with a view which we enjoyed at sunset. Downtown Florence is just 5min from the B&B with a 2-3 great restaurant options. Check out the Florence Brewery which has a small mountain town vibe.”

“It was perfect for us we enjoyed our stay. It has just what you need all the amenities and cute little apartment not far from the beach. Full kitchen large fridge everything you could simply want on a vacation. I couldn't complain & the owner was great our flight was delayed but she didn't give up on us and we appreciate her for keeping our room for three days even though we didn't get here until three days later, so time is dwindling down and it's about time for us to go back home. I am so not ready and the place is just adorable of course it's not all fancy but it's cozy it's been my home for the last 5 days and I've enjoyed! They give you exactly what you need to you shouldn't have to ask for anything more and I would like to thank them for a great stay and it was clean and that's important! It's not modern but definitely clean I am a housekeeper by day back at home so cleanliness this is something that I aim for. Dory thank you very much we appreciate you and your staff for such warm welcome.”

“For several years now, my twin sister and I have come here to spend our birthday together. On our last visit, the owners went above and beyond to accommodate. Without going into a long story, I was upset by something that really wasn't a fault of theirs, and they surprised us with an extremely generous solution. They were gracious, understanding, and really just went out of their way to turn things around (when they weren't in any way obligated to). This place is inviting, quaint, quiet and cozy - everything you'd hope for if you're looking to get away and relax for a bit. We can't wait to come back.”

“Nice and convenient. Has a saltwater pool. The kids enjoyed themselves. Saw some people had dogs, so "assuming" it's pet friendly unless they were all service animals. Complimentary breakfast from 7-10am.”
