“This place is so big and beautiful. I felt at home. Hugh and Amy are amazing and make you feel like family. Amy took us on a tour and explained the history of the property and what they have and still are working on. I can't wait to come back.”

“We attended a wedding at this amazing venue in August. Everything about Ashley Inn is so charming and just perfect for a summer wedding. I helped host a wedding party luncheon the day of the wedding. Heidi and the staff were so wonderful to work with. Heidi helped plan the menu and gave some great ideas on what to serve. Everything was handled through email and phone calls. No stress on my part at all. AND the luncheon was fabulous!”

“Nice newly renovated rooms (as of fall 2022), comfortable beds, clean. Great value. Accommodating, hospitable, staff. I am a picky sleeper and this room checked most of my boxes. It had a an AC unit capable of consistent noise. Was not loud. The curtains could have worked a little better to keep the light out, it was hard to adjust them to not have a crack of light peeking through the middle. Would stay again”

“Top notch. Great place to play and stay. All inclusive, park your car, stay for several days and leave life’s challenges back home. Great golf and outstanding staff. Our group has been coming twice a year since the late 1990’s. Many many great stories and good times. 27 challenging holes with large greens, several sets of tee’s, in a scenic serene setting. Houses are great, clean and comfortable. Old school photo…..”

“This place is an awesome get away! We stayed here when we had to evacuate our home in Florida for Hurricane Irma. We stayed safe during the hurricane and were able to relax and not even think about it. The kids had no wifi so they did not have screen distractions or news of what was going on at home to worry them. We spent family time walking and exploring and made smores over the campfire at night. the host, Judy Mullins, was amazing, very accommodating, and a genuine nice person. She thought of everything. Knowing we would be arriving late, she left lights on, candles lit and there was even food and drinks for breakfast. The town has great places to eat and the cabin is close to a life size Noah's Ark that took us hours to explore. I highly recommend Mullins Cabin and hope to return for another stay.”

“So much more than a luxurious bed and breakfast! Cheryl and Sam take great care in looking after guests personally with immaculate details in such a warm and glorious home. The decor includes all things Kentucky and horses curated with care for each guest suite. Breakfast is sumptuous, delicious, and prepared in an open kitchen so guests can converse with Cheryl as she prepares to individual needs and taste. Cheryl is completely attentive to all the needs for the health of guests during these times. There are so many places to be and things to do on the estate. We enjoyed as many as we could fit in, but could not possibly cover everything in one weekend! We had a wonderful time with the horses, Sam the wonder lab, and saw the kitty. So much bird life to hear and watch while in the hot tub. We played pool in the game room by our suite, the Turf Room downstairs where we also enjoyed our private patio. The room was so comfortable! It was so easy to sink into the plush mattress and sleep, and the bathroom toiletries, towels and robes were such high quality. We want to return and keep our new friendship going with Cheryl. Thank you for a tremendous beautiful weekend. Totally recommend.”

“Very nice and clean place to stay. Bathhouses are always clean, and pool is clean. Best ice cream to eat (to buy) in the store. Live music was a nice surprise. Kids enjoyed the play ground and putt putt, but the course needs a little updating. Great idea to bring the kids bikes and hoverboards. Great place to stay. Every staff member we encountered was super friendly. Looking forward to many more trips here”

“Stopped in with my wife since we were in the area. We each selected 4 different wines for our tasting, and the employee was very informative while we sipped. The prices were also very reasonable. I was impressed with the quality of the red wines. The Bordeaux and the Merlot Reserve were exactly what you would want out of each of those flavors. The Bordeaux would pair perfectly with a juicy steak, it was earthy and rich. The Merlot reserve was deeply fruity and a fantastic pour. Give them a shot if you’re nearby, you’ll find something worth taking home!”

“We LOVED our stay at the Cabin on Main Street. As coaches/recruiters we're on the move A LOT so when possible we try and stay out of hotels. We showed up to our event and bragged about the town we were staying in, the charm of the cabin and how wonderful everyone we met was. At the end of a long day, we didn't have to worry about a thing... everything was in walking distance and the cabin provided the essentials. Big thanks to Liz and Travis for their hospitality - we'll be back!”

“We brought a church group to stay for the weekend. We had such a great experience. Brice and his crew were very welcoming and went above and beyond. The space was perfect for a group like ours that had kids of many different ages. We really enjoyed the grounds, fire pit, and the game room. A wonderful weekend away!”

“We recently held our wedding at Richwood and we couldn’t have possibly been more pleased. The staff made us and all of our guests feel at home. There wasn’t a worry we had they weren’t able to quickly remedy. We booked the entire facility for 3 nights during the week and had guests staying the entire time. We were all made to feel comfortable and had one of the most amazing times of our lives. I have and will continue to recommend Richwood with full confidence to anyone searching for a wedding venue or just a couple nights away in a beautiful location.”

“Nicely kept and really quiet RV park. Stayed here while visiting family in Radcliff. Super close to Etown, Radcliff, Ft Knox area. Catch and release pond was super cool. Has a nice little pavilion with a lot of seating and a small playground right next to it. Our site was gravel and mostly level. Will definitely stay again.”

“My wife and I came to Bardstown for our anniversary and stayed at the Bourbon Manor. This old house has tons of character, great outdoor spaces to relax, a fantastic breakfast, and is very close to the center of town. The staff were friendly and we really enjoyed our stay. It seemed like there was plenty of parking, and the a/c kept that old house cool despite temperatures in the 90s. Bathroom was a bit quirky but everything was perfectly clean and the quirks are par and parcel of a beautiful old building like this. We’ll be back for sure!”

“4.5 /5 (I'll round up) for what it is. Staff was friendly, room was clean. I'm a cigar guy and took a smoking room which didn't smell like cigarettes (I can't stand cigarette residue smell). Shower hot and cold were reversed...but for a 2 star it could have been worse lol.”
