“This place was great! My wife and I stayed here the night of our wedding in August. Our bedroom had a huge comfy king-sized bed, a nice TV with surround sound, and central air that made that hot/humid Kentucky night feel like we were in Alaska. The bathroom was huge as well with an amazing multi-head shower and a two person tub surrounded by candles. The breakfast menu had a good selection of classics. I had the waffles with blueberry compote and they were honestly the best I’ve ever had. You get to pick the main food and each order comes with fruit or yogurt and a few choices of sides. We had so much food between the 2 of us it could’ve fed a family of 5. Our host was the best part. He joined us for breakfast. He told us some history about the area and some very interesting stories of his past and past guests. We had a great night sleep and an amazing breakfast. Could not have asked for a better night.”

“Interesting house with room for about 6- 8 pretty comfortably. Modern place with a classic look. Equipped kitchen, comfy beds. The neighbors are closer than I expected and "town" / shopping is about 15 minutes away, so it's not too different being at home in some respects. The internet here is good, you'll want to bring a firestick or something to stream stuff or use their DVD player. The roosters next door started up about 330am and apparently never stop, and with the dogs barking on and off that may be trouble if you expect quiet or need silence to sleep, but if you're used to city noises and volume levels its no big deal. If you're not from KY it can be kind of annoying trying to find adult beverages, but I guess you get used to it.”

“This hotel was less expensive than competitors in the area. Staff were helpful and efficient. Rooms are not pristine but clean enough to be comfortable and feel safe. Beds and pillows are fine. The bathroom fan was noisy and the desk chair was squeaky. Breakfast simple but clean and fresh. We would return.”

“The room was clean and smelled nice. The complimentary free hot breakfast they provided was wonderful. The staff was warm and friendly. You could not ask for a better stay for such a reasonable price. I will definitely stay here again.”

“Totally enjoyed my stay at Nicura Ranch! The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Good location, easy to find near the town of Berea. Enjoyed interacting with the animals by joining in on “barn time”! The horses are beautiful and the goats were crazy fun to watch. The Hosts were more than accommodating and friendly while the property provided peaceful surroundings. Enjoyed my morning coffee on the patio and the amazing homemade ice cream each night of my 5 day stay. Wonderful visit.”

“Truly an awesome, amazing experience! The owner, Rene’, was an amazingly friendly person, not to mention an astounding cook. She greeted us as we arrived and showed us to our room. She made small talk and explained the general layout of the beautiful farm the B&B was located on, and about the house itself. She made it clear from the start that she was there to make us comfortable and handle any issues we might have, which was comforting. She even took my wife and our son on a trip to feed the animals and to see the barn, which he had wanted to do. We were in the “Blue” room which was very nicely, but efficiently decorated and in the lower level of the home. The room had a private bath and king size bed. She gave us several options for our little one’s sleeping arraignments, and after we left for the evenings events came in and set up his little cot, which was far nicer than any roll away bed. She asked up what time we wanted our breakfast and offered to serve us in the lower level’s common area. After the events that night we returned and the house was gorgeous at night. Sitting on top of a ridge, and well lit, it was welcoming even though we appeared to be the only ones awake. We entered through the private entrance to the lower level and headed to bed for the night. The only downside we ran into was the temperature of the room, as we like to sleep like penguins. While I am sure Rene’ would have gladly adjusted it to suit us had we made her aware, it was easily placated by opening a screened window and enjoying the cool fresh fall air. The next morning as we were showering and preparing for the day I got a text from Rene’ that said our breakfast was placed and ready. I was expecting slightly more than a continental breakfast, but surprised to find a well decorated place setting with country style ham, fresh chopped pineapple, orange juice, and the best scrambled eggs I have ever eaten. It was delicious and fulfilling. Perfect before our busy day ahead. As we were enjoying our meal Rene’ came downstairs to check on everything and made small talk as we ate, while also playing with our son. The next morning we were showering and packing and again I get a text that our food is placed and ready. This spread was even better than the morning before. She had prepared a delicious, homemade “French Toast Casserole”, sausage links, fresh strawberries and bananas, orange juice, and more of her amazing scrambled eggs. This was one of the best breakfasts I have had, and again, protein packed and perfect for our crazy busy day. Rene’ again came down to check on everything, and even brought us fresh baked cookies to take with us. Truly could not have asked for a more caring and friendly host. Overall our stay was fantastic. The extra care Rene’ took to make sure our family was taken care of, the amazing food, the gorgeous house and property, and the comfortable, spacious, and clean room and common area was exactly was we needed for our stay. I would have no issues about returning, and will gladly refer family and friends.”

“4.5 /5 (I'll round up) for what it is. Staff was friendly, room was clean. I'm a cigar guy and took a smoking room which didn't smell like cigarettes (I can't stand cigarette residue smell). Shower hot and cold were reversed...but for a 2 star it could have been worse lol.”

“The park is easy to find. And easy to find the destination I was looking for. The park was clean. Free or trash and didn't look cluttered or like a junkyard. It seemed to have plenty of room for new tenants. So if anyone is looking for a place to move their mobile home that close to a lot of businesses then this is the place to check out. There is a laundry mat and a convenient store at the entrance and located next to a Kroger. And across the street from the entrance there are restaurants to eat. So as far as location goes, this mobile home park is located in a good spot.”

“Nice staff, nice room, nice bed, nice breakfast, nice price! Staff was very accomodating. Accessible room was conveniently placed and was large and clean. King bed was comfortable but slightly firm. Good A/C and water pressure. It had a fridge, microwave, desk, and a small tub. Excellent hot breakfast included eggs, sausage, and biscuits and gravy. 12 pm checkout. Highly recommend for the value minded.”

“Update: We have been living here for a year and we love it. The small cottage life is right for our family. The Landlady LaTonya is very nice and funny. Our two bedroom cottage has had only one problem since we moved in. The toilet leaked but they fixed it that day. Can’t complain about our home. Many people gave this place a bad name but new management and Landlady LaTonya cleaned house and evicted a lot of people who dragged it down. She has cleaned up the place and made it a livelier place to live. The cottages are old, built in the 50’s. They ain’t got all the amenities that most new places have. But it has more than what you’d get in an apartment. A big yard, decorate to your taste, and allows pets. A house with no neighbors living above you or right next door. Every house gets a trashcan and there is no Dumpster (Yay). When I hear or see people say this place is ran by slum lords. I believe its people that lived here before LaTonya took over or some of the people she had to evict. The problem here is not the Owners. You gotta take care of your own yard and use an air conditioner and bring your own appliances. But in the long run, it’s basically like buying your own home. If you don’t clean it and let it go and your filthy and don’t do anything to change your habits for the better. Then its your fault your house is condemned. Not the Mortgage place. Not the city. So why would the Landlord-Landlady be responsible for cleaning up after you or keep letting you destroy the place and say things like (they are slumlords) when you never lifted a finger to do anything when was here. It p*ss’s me off to see grown a** children complaining about a good place just because they was the ones bringing it down.”

“When I heard Red Roof Inn, I got a negative picture in my head but this was one of the best hotels I've stayed at in a long time that was in a normal persons reasonable budget. There were a lot of amenities that you would definitely miss if you didn't have. Great continental breakfast. Clean and comfortable rooms and wonderful water pressure.”

“A similar dining experience with the Bowls, Salads and Wraps, however with a more personalized selection and unique flavors. I had a Jerk chicken bowl and almost bought a second one for dinner. I have found a new spot. Give them a try. You will not be disappointed.”

“Check in was very quick and the man was very nice. They have a large grass area for the dogs, with a poop bag dispenser. Room 140 was clean and in very good repair. Bed was comfortable and linens were nice. Toilet is low which is great for kids, but may be an issue for some seniors used to a taller toilet. Will definitely stay again.”

“I had an absolutely amazing experience here. Shelley and all the great people working at the front desk are willing to help out with anything you need! My next compliment goes to the housekeeping staff. Absolutely wonderful group of women I would leave notes about not doing the dishes and they would still do them anyway and my room is always super clean and ready for me to go to bed the next night I got home from a long day at work!! Just a friendly reminder to everybody this is a hotel so be mindful that the TVs are a little weird to operate. And what I mean by that is the remotes run a little slow when pushing buttons you just have to be patient it will eventually do what she wanted to do. Breakfast was very well every morning from 6 to 9 on weekdays and 7 to 10 on weekends a recommendation if you are staying long-term you might want to pick up some breakfast items as it tends to be fried eggs and sausage or sausage and cheese omelettes. And then they have the continental breakfast as well which is well staffed and never out of anything !!!!! (Again breakfast was fine had I not been a long-term guest.)Keep up the good work! I would definitely tell my company to book me here and I would even stay here on personal travel as well.”

“This is an older building, but the rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower had good water pressure, and was hot. There was a large , mini fridge, a microwave, TV, and wi-fi. This location is very easy to find, right off exit 87. The staff were friendly and the front desk lady (Robin) was awesome! We received great customer service from her! I would recommend the stay. We had everything we needed and was quite comfortable.”
