“This was a fun way to spend an afternoon. It was hot but the cabins you go in and out of weren’t too bad temperature wise. Most of the cabins has people there showing how things are made, like yarn and clay pots, they all seemed very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. We enjoyed it.”

“This place is amazing. The exhibits are very well done. They are very open about the artistic liberties taken and the desire to use design features common to the area and times. The gospel story is presented so clearly. The films- 4d and planetarium are well done. There are live speakers several times a day offering instruction on a variety of topics.”

“Took the Pumpkin Patch train ride which runs down to the Kentucky River. You can disembark to view the bridge, canyon, and scenery. Then the train takes you to the Pumpkin patch where there are picture areas, apple cider, and you get to pick your Pumpkin (for a fee). There are 3 options for riding, coach, first class, or hobo style. Took the first class (hobo was sold out) which was nice with comfy seats and A/C. Nice 2 hour trip seeing Kentucky countryside with cows, horses, and farm fields. Found the ride relaxing. First class was $22 for adults and definitely worth doing at least once. There is a railroad museum to tour. Did not see that section, this time.”

“We did a weekend trip to the Bourbon Trail & this tour was our favorite of the weekend. The other distillery tours were great but more corporate feeling. This one made us feel like we walked back in time to where bourbon started. Adam was an excellent & engaging guide & we were happy that we stumbled onto this tour. Thanks again”

“We had a great experience - in all aspects of the tour, tasting and gift shopping, Was one of my top 2 experiences in the region and strongly recommend a visit here over other distilleries. The pours were large, and the tour was a real learning experience. Gift shop was well stocked and spent some coin after the tour. Will revise the gift shop again to restock on spirits before we leave town. The 1.75L prices are excellent.”

“LOVE this park. The visitor center is nice and has a small historical display that educates you on the history of big bone lick. The staff are friendly. You HAVE to see the bison. In the hot summer days the bison like to lay down under the shade of the trees. Catch them in a cooler time of the year and they will roam the open pasture. Pretty cool! The park is well maintained.”

“The dealership stated I needed new brakes for my Toyota. Kenny pulled my tires and stated the brakes are only half used. Kenny stated there is still a lot of life left. Kenny is exceptional at what he does. He is honest and upfront about all aspects of the service provided. I wish ALL repair shops were as great as Kenny and Mitch's Auto!”
