“Awesome place. Small but packed full of local area history. Currently February/March 2020 undergoing some renovations and upgrades to displays. I recommend trying out all their planned historical events for the upcoming season, and apple island tours. There even is a small archeological pit for the youngsters to see what cool stuff they can dig up. Lots of fun for everyone who would like to brush up on local area history and find out what life was like before cars, TV's, and cell phones. Get out and explore!”

“Cozy little neighborhood park with an old church that serves as an event space. It's always clean, and they keep up with the landscaping. The only con is the past several times that I have stopped by, the fountain wasn't running. I'm not sure if it's under repair or permanently closed. It is a cute feature of the park, and I hope they get it running or replaced. Nice place for wedding or engagement photos or just a quiet place to spend an afternoon. FYI: There's no area for kids. I have seen a volleyball net but no swings or playscape. Also, there are no public restrooms that I have seen. They do have them inside the old church, but I don't believe they are open to the public.”

“My father stayed there in May 2022 after being discharged from the hospital unable to walk from CHF complications. David and his staff took excellent care of him. The doctor came to the house to see him and make some new care suggestions to get him back on his feet. The home is beautiful and has all the luxuries needed. My father was very happy with the home cooking and compassionate care. He was able to return home but I would definitely recommend this home to everyone.”

The atmosphere, up north, UP feel when entering! Great food!! Fried mushrooms were fantastic!! Pastie?? Made in house, very good!! Gravy was wonderful though the preference was hot sauce and catsup! If they could just add rutabaga, it would truly be perfection!! Truly! Can’t have a Pastie without Rutabaga! Still would give it an 8 out if 10 without the rutabaga. The dough was wonderful as was the flavor. Large portion and filling! French onion soup, eh, I think they could certainly get this better!! I’m a French Onion Soup Snob!! I’ll give it 5 out of 10. Wouldn’t order again. Cheese was spot on as well as onions but the broth left me sad. Bland and boring. No richness. No beef flavor to fill your taste buds. The pulled pork sandwich was a 10! Delicious! Coleslaw was blue cheese and mild on cheese taste but so pleasant. Not too creamy! Not watery! Blue cheese crumbles or chunks would put it over the top!! Wings? Delicious. Crunchy celery and fantastic blue cheese dip!! Their Ranch and a alao wonderful! I will certainly come back for both atmosphere, fantastic Bartender and food! Lots more to try! Cat says the fish and chips is spot on! That will be my next try! Was so indulged in Cat conversation that I didn’t take photos of the pastie and the pulled pork, but seriously, take my word! Just as I was leaving, the entertainment was starting! Open Mic Night!! Fun!! I give this experience a two thumbs up! Cat is wonderful and watching the servers, I think this place has it going on! Seems like great chemistry within the staff!! That is a difficult task for any establishment! Kudos!!”

The first visit I had the 12” pizza which has a thinner crust and Friday I had a deep dish pizza which takes longer to bake. Choose your sauce and cheese and items as you wish. So good.”
