Luce Line Trailhead Plymouth

Address: Luce Line Trail, Plymouth, MN 55447, USA

Park

“This parking area seems pretty good and relatively secure. It's busy so that makes me feel a little better about the security of the lot and it appears to be in a safe area. No bathrooms at the trailhead that we could find but the trail has many porta-potty's every few miles. The Luce Line trail is a very nice trail, crushed limestone that is almost as smooth rolling as pavement, yet it has no cracks or pot holes. Super fun to ride bikes on if you're into really flat and very straight rails to trails routes.”

Southwood Park

Address: 4800 Terracewood Dr, Bloomington, MN 55431, USA

“I have had two root canals done by Dr. Whiting. I was impressed with his bedside manner and his ability to make me feel at ease. He is very professional but also very personable. He is also very knowledgeable and is good at explaining what needs to be done and then doing it. I felt very little discomfort and both times the procedure went smoothly and without any problems. I would highly recommend him and would definitely go to him again if needed.”

On the other side of the baseball fields there's a more traditional playground for younger kids. There's a ton of open space here assuming games aren't being played on the fields. Also an ice rink!”

Nesbitt Park

“The inside & outside of the Nature Center is full of great displays and cool interactive for young & old alike. Along some of the trails there are little learning signs about the different trees. We hiked one trail which was a little rugged for elders and stroller pushing, but it felt truly like a Nature Walk. It is close to the City but you think you are way out in the country side. Rolling grasslands, forests, bogs. Parking was ample. Pretty wide trails for social distancing. Winter time they groom it for winter activities. Great place to get outside with kids.”
