“Amazing park in summer and winter. Really cool sledding hill that isn’t too steep for young kids (4 and 2 year olds could climb it). Fun park with plenty to do and the snow adds a whole new level of fun.”

“Well maintained raised garden plots make it easier to garden. A small shed contains tools, seeds and Informative handbooks available to the gardeners. Water is accessible for all the plots. Gardeners meet during the season to exchange info and tips. Any excess produce is taken to a local food shelf.”

“Fun place. Not difficult, but GREAT place if you wanna squeeze 3, 4, even 5 rounds in in about 2 hours.”

“Recently attended firearms safety training weekend here with my son. What a great experience! What set the class apart were the two main "teachers", Ryan and Chad. They were very knowledgeable and engaging with the kids and adults. It was just the right amount of indoor vs outdoor activities to keep the kids engaged and having fun. The lodge and food were great and the cabins were excellent. My only two suggestions were the bathroom in the lodge had an odd odor all weekend that should be addressed and some longer breaks (20-30 min vs 10) would have been nice throughout the day. Overall it was a great experience that I would highly recommend.”

“The pool seems quite small considering first, that it is on an elementary school property ( WHERE I'M SURE THAT AT LEAST 200 KIDS ATTEND ) so why not at least accommodate the pool for 30-40 kids. Second, there are many, many families with more than two kids per household in the neighborhood. I would definitely take my grandson back, he had big fun. It was overly crowded and many of the bigger kids were not mindful of the smaller kids.”

“Such a nice quiet park tucked away behind Groveland school and cemetery. Large walking area and field with medow/pound. Playground has standard slides, ladders swings etc. and a train to play on.”

“A small quaint well serviced city park. Too small for any significant walking trails exclusive to the park itself. Potentially a good place to picnic with the family; weather permitting. There are 2 picnic shelters near the main baseball field for times when the weather changes spontaneously. Additionally, there is a fairly modest size playground for children. It should be noted this particular park serves a very special role for the surrounding community as home of the local little league baseball team.”

“Great place for a large group. Lots of space for camping and activities including a couple of open buildings to get out of the elements and be protected. There are also picnic tables and grills. Neither of the buildings have electricity, so don’t plan on using crock pots or electric kettles. There is a pump to get water as well as toilets that have hand sanitizer. There are great trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding. Trains go by at night, so if that would bother you, bring earplugs. Sarah Creek campsite is a favorite with our group.”

“This is the trailhead for both a single-track mountain biking trail and a short (about 1.0 or 1.5 mile) hiking loop. The two trails are on opposite ends of a parking lot. There are restrooms. Note this is not one of the best places to park to access the 5- to 7-mile loop that goes around the perimeter of the park. In general, signage at this park is not the best. I was there to hike. If you're looking for a shorter hike, this is a nice one that takes you through a variety of ecosystems. It's rugged enough to feel like you got exercise but not really challenging for most folks. I think younger children could handle it.”

“One of my favorite lakes in the area! It's big enough to wakeboard and mostly used by the residents that live on the lake. It's a little green and weedy along the shore but once you get out in the middle, it's great!”

“This park has 3 tennis courts, and two of them also have pickle ball lines as well. I've played Tennis here a few times during Summer 2022 and they are well maintained courts. There is a pavilion and water fountain nearby as well. The lights for night playing on the court only work on one side.”

“Today I brought one of my best friends, my daughter, and my nephew to Kylawn Park for a mini picnic at the park. There are some 5-6 metal picnic tables next to the activities building under the pavilion. It was a warm day with a mild rain coming and going with a nice breeze to make the experience very pleasant and peaceful. The park was very clean and the facility has many trash and recycling cans for clean up.”

“One of the best spot to catch sunsets in this area and is very peaceful. This park is clean, has all the important amenities, beautiful seatings for couples and groups, fully marked beach, beach shower, connected to trails, ramp lake access, party hut for large gatherings, has one boat parking and general parking area, good for launching boats, volleyball, tennis and other courts are near by. Have seen lot of people do come for ice fishing too. Note- No boat/kayak rental, no big washroom, no splash pad.”

“Fun playground including an enclosed three- story slide that even an adult can use. There is a skate park for skateboarding (maybe in-line skating, tool. We like using the paved walking/biking path along the creek and looking for wildlife from the small bridge. The building is often open for various events, which is convenient. Free off-street parking available.”

“First non-chlorinated public pool in North America. It uses a regeneration basin with plants and microbes to biologically filter and clean the water. Every 12 hours all 500,000 gallons cycle through. After closing each evening, robotic vacuums cleanse the pool bottom of algae. This is a beautifully landscaped natural pool and admission is free. It is a zero depth entry pool with a diving platform, a few lanes for lap swimming ($3), and a wading area. Bathrooms and lockers are available, as is an outdoor shower at poolside. Pool hours are afternoons and lifeguards are on duty. This is a gem in the heart of Minneapolis.”

“The park itself is great. The refs calling the game suck, should be ashamed of themselves, and know with all their heart that they are going to hell! You don't mess with kids no matter how much your paid!”
