“Great experience working with the family and crew. I had them do 2 jobs for me. First one was a 16x16 pavilion on the east end of the island. They called when it was ready to be installed. The crew came and completed it in one day. Nothing like seeing a install go so smoothly. Great job. 2nd job was a shed in my yard. Again the crew came when scheduled and went together nicely. Completed a 14x10 shed in about 3.5 hrs. They also sell other outdoor furniture at their shop. Would highly recommend them.”

“I found the prices a bit high, thus I took pix of the books I was interested in so that I might seek them elsewhere. Other reviews noted staff assisting customers with coupons, but my cashier didn't. She was polite & careful with my purchases, which were mainly good-priced markdowns when we first entered the store. I saw one female staff assisting a couple with their registry when we entered & as mentioned the polite (but not overly friendly or vociferous) woman checking is out... but saw no floor staff whatsoever! Although we very carefully made our way throughout the store, we were never approached by any staff to offer assistance, and despite lengthy research of nursery furniture displayed, no store reps were even really available! Needless to say, we ended up taking photos to research purchasing elsewhere, possibly online. There certainly were options -- but nobody to assist decision-making.”

“So I had a dilemma with my new appliance and tried to do an exchange the next day. Everyone pretty much gave me the middle finger and said I’m out of luck. After checking with the North Greenbush Home Depot location for “better customer service,” I tried the Washington Ave Ext site. I explained the situation to the manager and this time the customer to manager interaction was a complete 360 from the last location. He listened, acknowledged my concerns and came up with a solution. His name is Jeff, a customer experience manager and the way he was ready to solve this issue, he might as well have been my lawyer for the day. He knew my rights as a customer and was ready to get on the phone and speak with the manufacturer himself. THIS IS THE DEFINITION OF CUSTOMER SERVICE! After a lengthy hold, we finally got the approval for my exchange. He made sure to get a name and also checked the computer for customer log updates on the manufacturer’s end. Not to be dramatic, but I was nearly in tears. It was a very long and stressful day, but to end it on that note was truly a victory. This is now my new Home Depot location that I will happily drive 20 mins to for all my purchases as a new homeowner. Thank you Jeff!”

“The owner is extremely nice and Constantina that works for him was amazing. One of the best experiences I had shopping, period. I shopped around looking for a specific spout for my bathtub — the part was on a massive list of Delta back-orders that weren’t being fulfilled until next year. This was the ONLY plumbing supply showroom in all of New York City, Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester that had this spout. Their price matched online prices including tax and the items as packed perfect and never opened. I walked in five minutes before close and they sorted me out in 10. 5/5 stars for service. 5/5 stars for showroom. The showroom is WILD. They had faucets I’ve never seen before of varying quality. I would say this business carries more high-end items. A true hidden pluming gem. You would never know how massive of a showroom it is for the location.”

“We recently had what I would call a relatively complicated installation completed through NY City Blinds. We had 10 shades installed; 9 of the 10 were installed side by side and around two corners. The experience working with our design consultant Tommy and the results were excellent. The outcome was exactly what we expected and wanted. Based on past experience, we always expect a few hiccups the larger and more complicated the job. That’s where customer service comes in. In one case a shade may have been cut by a fraction of an inch too long to fit seamlessly into the row of 9 side by side shades. Tommy responded immediately without resistance and resolved the issue quickly to our complete satisfaction. Subsequently, we recommend NY City Blinds and Tommy both for the quality of their product and their customer service. In summary, our experience has been, the product is high quality and that for NY City Blinds customer satisfaction is paramount”

The furniture are in excellent shape and beautiful. They don’t do delivery, but they had contacts of people who did. I contacted Robert of Man With A Van and he gave me a reasonable price. I’m very satisfied with my furniture and the customer service. I will be returning when I may need something else and I also recommend this furniture store to anyone reading this review.”

I ended up moving forward and bought the sactional of my dreams with standard foam, storage and a few accessories. shipping takes 8-10 weeks ob custom orders which is a pain but it'll be worth it. Lynn was the one to check me out I got 15% off plus an additional 5 for a fire fighter discount. Two days layer they came out with a 25% discount and Lynn credited me the difference with no issue!
