“I recently visited Holly Ridge Golf Course in Archdale, NC, to get some practice at the driving range. While my skills were a bit rusty, I was determined to start playing again. Unfortunately, my return to the course took an unexpected turn. As I was leaving, I tripped and fell, striking my head on the brick steps leading to the clubhouse. I was grateful for the immediate assistance I received from Alyssa Wise, a staff member at Holly Ridge. Alyssa dropped everything and quickly assessed the situation, provided first aid, and stayed with me until I could get to the emergency room. Her compassionate care and attention to detail were invaluable during a stressful time. Thanks to Alyssa's help, I was able to receive prompt medical attention. “It was a crime how slow the place was during lunch hours! Look at the pics of the food. It speaks for itself. I mean the cheese pull from that bite of pizza was absolute perfection. Garlic knots came out hot and fresh, with drips of garlic sauce on the plate to slide the knots in. Crispy outside, light and airy on the inside. I even dropped a pic of the silverware next to the pizza so you can get an idea of the pizza size. I am so delighted that we stopped here for lunch as the food and service were outstanding. I dropped the atmosphere to a 4 for nitpicky reasons. Like the fact that there was no music or sound for ambiance. Also, some of the pictures on the walls were crooked and my wife fixates on things like that. However, the food review still stands. Overall this place is a strong 4.7 out of 5 in my book. Definitely worth going back for more!”

“Never made a review before but this place deserved it. Operated by the owner and his family who were all incredibly nice and inviting. I ordered the Mad Viking (a 2 pound burger with fries) which to my surprise came out very shortly after I sat down. It was humongous and delicious. My food and the rest of my family’s was equally as tasty and very affordable. Awesome atmosphere, if I lived in the area this is definitely where me and my boys would spend a lot of time. “Had a wonderful dinner here tonight. Just came into town, and we stopped here for dinner as we love Thai cuisine. We were not disappointed either. We started off with a couple of appetizers, which consisted of a sampler dim sum and then chicken spring rolls. Both were very good. I then selected my entrée from the chefs special, which was the shrimp and scallops in basil sauce with jasmine rice. The flavors were very distinctive and spicy. My daughter had the Tom Ka Kai soup and basil fried rice. Very nice authentic Thai dinner complemented with some saki and a couple Thai beers! I would make this my go to Thai restaurant if I lived in the area.”

“Not only is the food really good but the service was exceptional. We’re new to the area and have been trying multiple pizza shops and this is the best we’ve had. Our waitress was very attentive and polite even though were a large family with 2 crazy toddlers. And to top it off, it was my sons birthday and my toddler told our waitress and when it came time to pay we were surprised and told our bill was already taken cared of. Definitely recommend this restaurant and we will surly be back!!”

“Today was cold, rainy, dark, and just overall gross. I ordered via the app and drove right up the street to pick-up my food. To my horror, apparently I ordered to the wrong store. But then Kevin stepped in and the day got a lot brighter. He took my order fast, said they'd prioritize it (it was done in like 10min), walked it out to my car (in the rain), then, on top of it all, gave me a free 2-liter for the trouble. He said to me, "You know it's the little things." I couldn't agree more. This interaction was so impressive in the depth of incredible, thoughtful, and genuine service offered to me that I had to write this review. Also, the pizza tastes great. The dishes are an elevated take on the local seafood and land-loving alternatives (meat). The gumbo was a delicious starter. The Blood Orange Scallops and Seafood Trinity pasta were perfect portions and great flavor. The big payoff is the ambiance. I recommend getting a table outdoors, so you can experience sunset on the sound side. This is a welcome addition to the restaurants in Duck!”
