“Nice outdoor seating! Food is good, they have a decent wine list. You can’t beat $20 for a bottle of wine! However, the cigar smoking that is allowed is a problem. Both my husband and I have some asthma issues. We asked to be seated as far away from the smokers as possible. The server was very accommodating and friendly. . . But you can still smell it. We were going to get our food to go but fortunately they left and we were able to enjoy the rest of our dinner there. It really shouldn’t be allowed, period. Other than that it is nice and we would go more often if it wasn’t for that. Hope this is something management can take into consideration.”

“This was my first time here. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they serve breakfast all day, which is always a good thing in my book. The food was not only really tasty, but it came very quickly. I mean, like in a flash. I also got to get some potato pancakes, and they were wonderful. Really took me back to my childhood. This is a place that is ice cream but also food, local favorites like Lake Erie perch and chicken paprikash, as well as other typical Cafe offerings. The outside of the historic building is charming, and there are tables on the porch and in the garden. I highly recommend eating there if you can. The inside is just average, but eating on the porch, with such a great breakfast delivered so quickly, I was quite happy. I'll be back. And next time I'll also be trying the ice cream!”

“Lakeside Hideout is where Sunnyside used to be. My only complaint is they discontinued turtle soup. I would sometimes drive 2 1/2 hours JUST for turtle soup. I ordered the tenderloin and the fries. The fries were perfectly fried and had salt and pepper on them. The tenderloin was the star of the show. They have grilled and fried. I ordered fried, obviously, because duh. The meat wasn't pounded out too thin and the breading wasn't too thick. The meat was tender and juicy and the breading was light and crispy! It was up there as one of the best tenderloins I've ever had! My server was lovely and it was nice to sit outside by the channel and enjoy a meal and watch the farmers do their thing. The prices feel a bit steep for Mercer County, but I'll be back again.”

Literally award winning pizza, and for good reason. My absolute favorite is the Famous White. And I normally don't even like white pizza. But theirs is exceptional, and I get it every time we order from there. No matter which pizza you get, though, you will be happy with your meal because everything they make it GREAT! “Stopped in to try out the bakery. It's really good. I had a Bavarian filled creme stick and a blackberry fry pie The creme stick was light, fluffy, and was just delicious. Really liked how light the icing was. The fry pie was the best though. First off, they are huge. They are at least twice the size of any other fry pie I've had. The filling is really good and the crust was flaky, but didn't fall apart when eating it. The bakery isn't huge. But what they have is really tasty. Highly recommend stopping in to treat yourself sometime.”

“I've been meaning to check this place out since I moved here in 2022. I love Neapolitan pizza and was recommended this place by a lot of coworkers since they know I review pizza restaurants. With that being said, the pizza was fresh and well-balanced. Savory sauce, crispy pepperoni, and foldable crust. Definitely one of the best tasting pizzas I've had in the Dayton area. My margarita was perfectly mixed and tasted exactly as I make them at home. I deducted a star due to a cold, uninviting environment and staff. Also, the prices are way too high for such a small portion of pizza. $65 for two personal pizzas, one house salad, a bottle of beer, and one margarita. I would maybe come here again alone to make it cheaper, but I'll most likely stick with a cheaper restaurant.”

“We have tried many pizza places in Stark County. Our go to has become Kraus' Pizza on W Tusc. The crust has a great taste, although I will say it is even better the next day in the air fryer when it gets even crispier. The toppings and sauce have great flavors as well, and are always proportioned well. The ladies are always so nice when they take your order and at pick up. Keep up the great work!
