Fortunately, Henderson's estimate/quote for their best roof replacement proposal was almost identical to the insurance company's estimate (which they had not seen). Henderson seemed to choose and install high quality shingles and accessories. We appreciated the attention to details like ensuring that ridge vents travelled the entire length of the ridge and even installed additional bathroom fan vents (items omitted from the original house build). Our Henderson representative, Jake Tilton, oversaw the project from initial inspection, through the install to final inspection and provided documents for the insurance claim. We appreciated the professionalism throughout the project and even appreciated how the roofing crew was respected with proper equipment and frequent water breaks on an especially hot day. “I will try to keep this short, but Schmucker’s truly is the Friendliest Contractor in Town! Their work is quality, they are knowledgeable and they do everything to code, which is super important. As with any company, there’s a fear you’ll be scammed or the job will be half-a$$ed. You will NEVER have this issue with Schmucker’s. If something isn’t right, or you have a question, just ask! They were more than happy to answer any questions we had, and to correct any “issues” we found. That’s really the most important part I feel, finding an honest company. There is always room for human error no matter who you work with or how good they are. We really found a gem when we hired this company. They installed a back deck, two doors, windows, siding, soffit, and gutters. The deck and first door were our “test” to see if we liked them and what their quality was. Needless to say.. they passed! 👏 They even went out of their way to do some odds and ends for us, like putting a brace on our front gate that was leaning (no charge) and moving a heavy safe for us from one of our rooms to the other. We absolutely rate them 10/5, because 5/5 just doesn’t feel like enough.”
