“Hidden in the fields in White Mills, PA, this museum is amazing and in a beautiful setting. Lots of photos and writings about everything from making the glassware to information about the original makers. Nice gift shop with very reasonable prices. Fascinating display of much original glassware made there over 100 years ago. Interesting short video about how it was made and the working conditions. Friendly and knowledgeable volunteers gave a lot of details and information.”

“Nice local covered bridge. Restored to enjoy the nature around it. It would be nice to have more publicity on it for many others to enjoy. Also, people should take care when they visit so others can enjoy.”

“We loved the Pine Creek Furnace State Park. Among the many amenities was the Appalachian Trail Museum. It was comprised of two stories of displays, one geared to the history of the trail and the pioneers who helped develop it and the other was a kids museum with facts about each state, a reading area, and a nightime display with animal sounds. It didn't take long to go through, but it was very educational and well done. Take a book home from the gift shop to learn more about the founders, animals or the trail outposts.”

“Well, if you like glass sculpture you will love this. It's work from the past that cannot be recreated today, because of the amount of labor involved. The old tools used are interesting because you still wonder how the could have accomplished that work with those tools, and how people became expert at it. There was a movie documentary made a few years before it closed in the 20s, which they run constantly. There is also a collection of old baseball memorabilia on the lower floor. There are actually two museums of similar names near each other. This one is at the bottom of the hill.”

“I am a direct bloodline descendant of John Morton. I grew up visiting the homestead all the time as a kid as I only lived a few minutes away from it. It is interesting knowing you are tied to such history; and to someone who signed the Declaration of Independence. I was in town recently for my father's funeral and passed by it. It definitely needs some upkeep. A must for local history buffs.”

“Beautiful sculpture garden, very kind staffs In particular, Woodmere Art Museum has many wonderful American artists artworks including latest artworks up to 2018 as well as a section designated for students; very nice collections. Impressive! Quiet and beautiful inside and outside... If they sell coffee for the garden and sitting area would be perfect in my opinion.”

“It was a little bit late in the day when I arrived the last stop of the trip, perhaps the most famed Louis Kahn’s residential project, the Margaret Esherick House, located at the end of a driveway on the Chestnut Hill. The whole block is like a huge green carpet where trees and houses are embroideries that sparsely sewed on it. When I was taking photos in front of the building and hesitating whether or not to walk around for a overview of its exterior, the current owners came back and during our small chat, I got to know that they bought this house couple of years ago and I’m by far the first visitor they met. If not they had to leave at that time, I would have gotten a chance to have a interior tour with them!”
